AT&T, another company providing cellular communication services, had the data of 70 million customers of the company stolen, although AT&T itself denies this. The hacker sells a database with personal data that allegedly belongs to 70 million AT&T subscribers. This information even includes social security numbers, as well as dates of birth and other personal information. The hacker is going to sell the entire database for $1 million. https://restoreprivacy.com/att-data-breach-70-million-customers/

A resident of Texas, Jamarkis Etheridge, filed a lawsuit against AT&T, accusing it of security violations that led to the attackers gaining unauthorized access to the account and stealing 159.8 ETH from one of the exchanges.
The plaintiff claims that in September 2020 he became a victim of SIM card substitution due to the fault of AT&T, whose client he has been since 2009.
Etheridge accused the mobile operator of not ensuring proper security of his data. https://news.bitcoin.com/att-sued-by-customer-security-breach-theft-cryptocurrency/
