I could care less about Vitalik. I am greedy and want the money. 150 eth is worth like half a million dollars and that kind of money will go a long way. I can live without ever meeting Vitalik but I could use the money to make some investments and significantly improve the quality of my life.

come on! if i am do not get it wrong, in this cmc post they have mean 150$ not 150 ETH or half a million usd. just imagine that who guy will not be pick of half million dollar against just dinner with vitalik.
even here more interestingly most of people choosing $150 then dinner with vitalik.

I will choose $150 eth because this particular coin has bright future but if I choose dinner with vitalik I won't get any benefit in long term because if I would have big money then I can meet everyone in the summit.

150 Eth or dinner with Vitalik? Is this some sort of Hobson's choice? Because the answer is very easy. It's going to be 150 ETH. I don't want to have a very awkward dinner with Vitalik. Wouldn't even know what to talk about since I doubt we will have anything mutual. I would rather take that 150 ETH, go on a vacation and enjoy for few weeks.

Maybe binance were involved in the flash crash of market and this time they bought a lot of ETH for cheap.

What makes you think Binance caused the flash crash of the crypto market? I doubt a single exchange can cause a huge crash. If they can actually do that, should we all be worried about the short term affect?

if dinner with vitalik brings 150 ETH for me maybe it's better  
of course, getting 150 ETH will be preferred by many people. but maybe for a crypto platform developer of course having dinner and discussing crypto with vitalik is something important.

Indeed, many people choose 150 ETH and that is not wrong if they won't get anything better from dinner with Vitalik.
But if you have something to offer to Vitalik and ETH project, then maybe he will give you more than 150 ETH. In this case, maybe CMC team have something to offer to Vitalik ??

But if that happens in real then I would go for the meet because it will give publicity which is more worth than $150 so by monetising the publicity we can make few thousands.

Lmao! Vitalik can go and eat all the dinner all he want, I can get my hands on that Ether, it's going to be a hold for Ethernity, not what bitcoin has made me see through out 2021 with pump oppression. 
The thing is, having a dinner with a billionaires/millionaires, you ought to be one too because the rich always get richer, even if he give me all the advise and ideas on his head, I may end up no doing any due to lack of funding. I will settle with 150 ether.

I would take 150 $ETH to use 50% of that funds for buying mining equipment so that i can take advantage of high gas price. Later on, maybe attend any blockchain conference to meet with vitalik & share this with him if i get any chance in any way.

Of course would have chosen 150 $ETH over dinner with Vitalik, as the location is certainly so far away that it cost over $150. However, if the location was closer, then I would prefer to have dinner with him even though the offer was higher than that. Because knowledge is more expensive, it can't even be valued at $150.

What am i going to do with a dinner with Vitalik, i would rather have $100 in ETH rather than wasting my time over a dinner with a skinny dude. The only thing i would like to know is that when they are going to migrate the entire ETH to POS and will it be consistent without any mess up and how long users have to bear with the high transaction fees because i am really sick of the fees which i am paying now.

I'm more interested in having dinner with Vitalik, because we can learn the experience behind his success in developing the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum smart contracts are becoming the current adoption, although many other blockchains produce smart contracts. Of course the ideas of a Vitalik can be developed.

I wonder why would anyone leave $150 to go to dinner with vitalik? if at least it was someone with some interest in getting more knowledge about ETH and its history from the founder I could understand but that would also entail costs and it would be a dangerous move in a time of pandemic to be in the country of vitalik with him. By the way why is CMC asking this question?

Honestly I still don't understand the sentence but for sure I will choose 150 ETH over dinner with vitalik because I don't care. For me having a lot of money is more important than having dinner with important people
