Why does Eastern government always want to have everything under their control?? The sooner they come to terms with bitcoin being an assets that was never meant to be under the control of one entity the better for everyone.

Well, when you control the people... you control their wealth and you can misuse your power. This is exactly why Bitcoin was invented.. because Satoshi saw how Banks and Governments colluded during the previous financial crisis and how governments misused taxpayers money to bail out Banks.

China do not want their citizens to have any control, so they will censor their access to people that has freedom. The firewalls that are in place, can easily be circumvented... so it is not a big issue.  Grin  (VPN's)

There's no new here everyone! China blocked crypto mining and also other stuff and eventually, they will give permits again and allow it. China was really a devastating country for us crypto followers and because of that, it is affecting the flow of the market, they actually thought that they can control the people who are really interested in the crypto and another thing is that they thought that they can control cryptocurrency that's why they are doing this.

BIG WINNER!

Chinese users are currently unable to search for popular crypto exchanges on the country’s internet services amid reports of possible censorship.

Keywords searches for online trading platforms including Binance, OKEx and Huobi on popular internet services such as Baidu, Sogo, Zhihu, or Weibo are yielding no results. Other media outlets including CoinDesk first reported the possible blockage.

The Chinese government has recently renewed a regulatory crackdown on crypto mining and trading, helping send Bitcoin down about 45% since its peak in April.

The exchanges that appear to be impacted are some of the largest in the digital-asset world, with Asia-based users being among the earliest adopters. Binance is the world’s biggest crypto platform, with $30 billion in trading volume in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.com, a site owned by Binance.

This is not the first time China has had a currency-related ban. In 2017, Beijing banned domestic cryptocurrency exchanges and initial coin offerings (ICOs). At the time, China accounted for 90% of all global Bitcoin transactions. However, this ban does not prevent individual investors from buying currencies through foreign exchanges. On the other hand, they ban bitcoin but try to create a digital yuan for central bank issuance. They are simply unique and they want to control everything.

I think China's actions are too excessive in crypto, China should open up a little space for crypto because the effects of the policies they provide have an impact on the whole crypto world, not only in China. when they issue fud always cause a price drop on bitcoin

Just let them be and they do have this kind of behavior since this crypto market had boomed out. They are always having that impression or belief to theirselves that they are superior on everything.
Its just too sad for those citizens who do love to take part of this growing market but their government do really suck bigtime. They do make out some bans and prohibitions and later on they do
revoke it out just like theres nothing happened. To think off that Crypto market doesnt only circulate in one country so just let them be on what are the things they do like to happen
or do.Its their choice but doesnt mean it would greatly affect crypto market.

Well, since June a lot has happened to explain why the government blocked "searches" to popular Crypto exchanges... right. They already knew back then, that they will be banning Crypto currency mining and that they will be clamping down on Crypto currency activities.

People will ask why they banned Crypto mining and after a few months.. they will see the answer. (Hint : They are working on a GovCoin that are under full control of the Chinese government)

They know what they are doing, even though some people might not understand it at the time. The Chinese government wants 100% control over their economy and the flow of money and wealth... and Crypto currencies does not enable them to do that.  Roll Eyes
