What is happening with the CAPTCHA?

As long as you're signed out or in Incognito mode (not signed in), you should be fine.

I think you can experience difficulty of logging in account and encounter captcha problem when you frequently logout and login, i have not experience such problem before, and another thing that comes to my mind that can actually contributes to such difficulty of any website captcha login, is internet processors, if is not orderly active enough or no sufficient network to carry the procession, it can result as captcha challenge.

I haven't experienced any abnormalities lately. If I think about it, most of the time I am not even required to complete a CAPTCHA before logging in. I see CAPTCHAs once every 3 or 4 log-in attempts on average.

The real, real solution is to never log out, though I have to assume OP knows that and for whatever reason can't remain logged in forever.

I also log out every time I finished posting on Bitcointalk. Can't tell you why for sure, just for a piece of mind probably. Although I manually adjust the log-in time that is automatically set to just 60 minutes so that it doesn't interrupt me while posting and browsing the forum.

The only problem that comes to my mind is that it can be a bad idea if you share a device with someone. Even if this is not the case, I would never choose the "always stay logged in" option, because it only takes me about 15-20 seconds for this process (unless the captcha doesn't have a bad day).

I don't experience any issues with the captcha at bitcointalk but usually, when my internet is slow, the captcha keeps on failing. This can be another reason that captcha works a bit late sometimes.

Let's say you're always logged in to the forum, and that would probably mean you're logged in to all the other platforms and services you use - in addition to what @ETFbitcoin (malware that steals browser cookies) mentioned as a possibility, the potential danger is that someone does come into possession of your device after all. We live in a world where it is not strange for thieves to break into our house/apartment and steal everything they can get their hands on.

In addition to someone stealing your computer, they can also steal your digital identity if you are always logged in.
