I am planning to develop this mobile app. i am not sure if it is right to post on this board.

Reason for development: A large number of social platforms are currently available. Some unjust trends appear, such as Twitter and Facebook appear to control the public opinion situation appears. This is manifested by banning accounts, deleting or filtering information. Including President Trump have such encounters, let alone ordinary people.

The purpose of the development: to let everyone free to express their own speech, maybe speech may not be correct, but this app to ensure that you speak the freedom, maybe no one listen, but free to say!


The name of this app is eactalk, and the main core function is to transmit information using a decentralized blockchain.

We will use the earthcoin blockchain, which has existed since 2013, for development and will not issue new tokens.We are not sure we can succeed, but we want to work hard to achieve this function and break the fence and information barrier and control of existing social platforms. In the middle of this process, we may encounter many technical difficulties, and hope to get the support from all the technical experts by then.

The core idea of the app is to use the transaction function of earthcoin blockchain + ipfs. to realize the information on the chain, and the attachment on the ipfs to realize decentralization. Complete the decentralization of all information.

Current stage: The product prototype has been completed, and we plan to enter the development stage in October.

About this app, the development will also be open source use. Let more people can freedom of expression.

I think I understand your basic idea, it may have potential.
but buddy, all these links you posted are completely confusing. something is in English, most in Chinese which is a problem for us who do not understand that language.
All your web pages are terrible. very bad and clumsy design, images are not loaded, I lost the will to any detailed browsing.

I understand, probably you are not a designer, but for a start you can find some free solution. maybe at this point, it doesn't matter to you, but just to present any product, you have to make it much clearer.

What exactly is stored on Blockchain and ipfs? I tend to think that Blockchain is more suitable for light data to avoid slowing things down or filling it up with data that it becomes too big or  difficult for participants to download/sync. I guess you could structure things in a way that participants can customize their nodes to host the amount of data they can carry and this would need to be incentived to encourage them to host as much data as possible in a sustainable manner.
And I actually prefer a moderated one or participants have the right to reject to host certain contents

You are absolutely right, what I am doing now is putting the specifics in the ipfs storage and then putting the cid of the open ipfs into the earthcoin blockchain transaction storage. This way the content is decentralized and the key to open the content (ipfs cid) is also decentralized. I don't know if it's clearer if I explain it this way
