These are plastic business cards loaded with cryptocurrency.

They are not sold funded but the user may designate the cryptocurrency and denomination which will be displayed. The user can then fund the cards once they are received.

Below is direct from the Ballet site:

Quote

Business Cards for the Crypto Era
The Crypto Business Card is a synthesis of the traditional business card concept and Ballet’s physical cryptocurrency storage technology. The Crypto Business Card serves the same purpose as ordinary business cards, but they can also store cryptocurrency inside! They are made of high-quality plastic in the size and shape of a credit card. The front side of the card displays your name, company name and logo, and contact information. The crypto is stored on the back side of the card.

The Crypto Business Card implements the BIP38 open-source industry standard for cryptocurrency storage. The crypto stored on each card is protected by a tamper-evident sticker and a strip of lottery-style scratch-off material. As long as the sticker and scratch-off are intact, you can be certain that your two private key components are safe and has never been seen by anyone.

The Crypto Business Card is offline cold storage at its best. Crypto is stored on the card in a completely non-electronic way, so the threat of loss from electronic hacking is eliminated.

The Crypto Business Card can hold any one of the 100+ cryptocurrencies and tokens supported by Ballet. The front side of each card displays your selected cryptocurrency and denomination, but cards are empty when sold. Customers are responsible for sending the denominated amount of crypto to the address of the card.

Supported coins (100+)
* Please note: We do not recommend choosing any layer-two tokens (such as ERC-20 or BEP-20) because the receiver would also need a sufficient amount of the corresponding main chain token (such as ETH or BNB) to pay the gas fee for withdrawal.

The cards can be personalized with several fields

field layout:

example of a card:

There are 9 text fields, 1 field for Crypto and Denomination and 1 field for an image.

There are sold in qty's of 50 for $299 ($5.98 per card), 100 for $598 ($5.98 per card), 200 for $999 ($4.98 per card) and 1,000 for $4,995 ($4.99 per card)

sample image of the back (very similar to what a standard ballet wallet looks like):

before use

after use

Due to the customization of these cards I cannot really facilitate a group buy but if anyone needs assistance in ordering or needs them to be reshipped, I am more than happy to assist.

and yes my card looks terrible lol - I suck at design - was just trying to put something in each field and did not get further than tossing my own info/logo in

ballet could do more and offer different fonts as well or make it possible to move the image maybe. But they may have some sort of die set up with each location - if so, moving it around would make them more expensive.

Hey Mopar, thanks for sharing this. And props to Bobby for the concept. Is he active here on the forum do you know?

I can see these being cool gifts, and maybe even in time for Christmas?

I was having fun with this last night. A denomination was required, so I entered the year 2022 instead... this way I could fund them or leave them unfunded depending on who it's for and when. I'd prefer for it to just say BTC though...

Where's Rollercoaster Guy at? I want one of these from him  Cheesy

I like putting the year vs an amount - that is a great idea! as could customize the denomination as needed.
