I've just found this website while I was doing some random researches, seems a little bit similar to Cointelegraph (obviously I mean that remotely reminds me of Cointelegraph).


Did anybody come in contact with this website before and could share his experience?


The reason why I'm asking this is because sometimes some of its articles pop out during random researches on Google and I want to be sure that the sources I get info from are reliable and secure.

Be careful with websites that shares about articles or something that's motivational, they're not really caring about us. Most of these fud makers paid huge web developers promoting their projects without any further support from actual market demand.
This is the worst scenario that we should observe and bare in mind. Always trust the system that's transparent on social media not the website itself.

that's probably a new website that wants to gain traffic through using a similar name with coinmarketcap. there are a bunch of sites that used coinmarket as its name to attract people come to the site. I remember that there was another site called coinmarketstake and many more. These sites were new sites and it's better if you avoid dealing with an unreputable website like that.
As far as i know, these sites didn't have a reputation as they are being created to gain traffic, and then they will be sold to the developers or someone else. You can search your article on a reputable site and just ignore any article that recommended by google. Sometimes it's always popping up.

They are new in the field but they already have a good ranking, there are many articles to read but I still prefer Cointelegraph because of their interface and the articles are worth reading because the sources are coming straight from the newsmakers, compared to CoinMarketBag which rely on Youtube videos of influencers.

Initially I thought it maybe a part of coinmarketcap website but after reading the discussion here then I found that its not so they just want to make use of the popular term used in the investment field especially in cryptocurrency. I never found this site whenever I searched about cryptos and this is the first time as well I see this name on bitcointalk as well so not really a hige thing to notice in my opinion.

I will only refer to the gist of the article, and let others talk about the website you are referring to.

First of all, to review which articles you will refer to, of course, based on the time of posting the article the first time.

Second, the sources listed are true that the information has a correlation with the actual situation in the field.

Third, review each citation taken and search for the author, by year of citation as well as other latest information on official social media networks. For me, be it from the Cointelegraph site or something similar, if the context of the content shows facts on the ground, it can be used as a valid source.

Fourth, use all the same keywords and look for article references by including the full source.

Fifth, if you are looking for journals, then look at the table of contents to see if the citations listed are in the bibliography as a reference.

First time hearing about it, it's more like you are introducing a lot of new clicks to the site because I have to go to the site for the first time. Coinmarketbag appears to be a news site and also a paid site for Cryptos. I will definitely find some information on the site useful. Thanks for the introduction.

Right, the question is the credibility of the authors on the website; who knows articles written to create FOMO or fud. It's better not to swallow the written information right away but find out more about whether the information written is valid or not.

From the article that they write, it should be enough for you to judge whether they are really a good source for you to be getting your information from. Moreover you already know about cointelegraph.com and you know that it is one of the reliable sources that you can find when you’re in need of information on cryptocurrency market.

By the way, it’s good that I let you know that you shouldn’t be relying only one source when you’re seeking information, you should try to go through different sources and see their opinion, and then also use your own knowledge to determine what is right or not.

In the first place, in each articles we read it doesn't mean all information are true, of course not, all written there is just their  own speculation based on what they understand about it. But sometimes the website might have a risk, so you better careful it as well.

Simply if you end up on an article on that site, then you can confirm it on other sources. It's like other websites that you are not familiar with.

If you want reliable information then why consider that site if there's a much-known news portal related to crypto which is much popular?

The more sources you get your information from, the better. When making investment decisions, we cannot rely on one or two sources of information. In the case of this site, it appears to be reliable and the information provided on it looks to be accurate and truthful.

I have seen quite a lot of Google hits on it. But they are just regular stuff on new coins or tokens that just got listed. For me, I think the name just sounds too similar to coinmarketcap to take them seriously. They probably think they can piggyback on the success of coinmarketcap's fame. Such antics are lame

first time to hear this site though. but the usual go to of most crypto users are coindesk, cointelegraph.
upon checking this coinmarketbag site, i have a different feeling like they are posting some phishing sites or posting fake news. you will understand once you check the topics published. so better scrutinise those sites before jumping in one of the bait projects on the site.

i just saw the sites after u say it, in my opinion it just some cryto news get from other biggest site like cointelegraph and i saw bunch of crypto youtuber there that he just share to be honest i have one site similiar like that in indonesian language i but right now i only post about launch.


but before send any $$$ you better do you own research first

It does not take much to prepare a new website with a similar name. What the intent of the website is it not easy to discern. Usually such websites usually use the name to get SEO.

Now whether you should consider it reliable or not is a personal choice. I personally dont look at youtube infuencers and shills for advice because it is worst sort of advice which is going after hype trains. I would rather do my own research on coins and assets before I invest, so I know that I can only blame myself for losses, if incurred.

For just reading the news, you can use the older and known sites more. It is niche genre and difficult for competitors to gain an edge without support from bigger companies like exchanges and casinos. So keep an open mind, but dont be too open to shilling advisors.
