I would caveat nc50lc's reply by saying "This is what would happen if we trust blockchain.com are truthful about not having access to private keys". We have absolutely no way to verify that blockchain.com don't have access to your coins or your private keys, or give you pre-generated seed phrases that they store on a file somewhere, or have other methods of logging in to your account, or will leak a database of passwords, and so on. We know that blockchain.com have had very significantly security flaws in their set up in the past. We also know that countless users have had funds, address, and keys simply disappear from their blockchain wallet, transactions not show up, coins not be credited, etc.,, and we know that their support is completely incompetent and useless. I wouldn't trust a single word they say, and I would not be surprised in the least if they exit scammed with everyone's coins.

I have no idea why anyone continues to use this company.

or with regard to security, if their databases are leaked, it will not be very difficult for hackers who have on hand such devices which are used to calculate and force passwords to obtain private keys because to at a certain point, the keys and the account are encrypted using your password.

Well not only that, but so many users use the same small handful of passwords (or sometimes even just a single password!) across all their accounts. Given the number leaked accounts, passwords, and other credentials (https://haveibeenpwned.com alone has over 11 billion), then attackers can just start matching up blockchain.com accounts with leaked accounts belonging to the same person and start trying their passwords.

Do blockchain.com not offer cloud back up as well? (Another huge security flaw in their system.) This offers yet another potential method for wallets to be stolen, especially if your email/cloud storage account has been leaked as above.
