It is not just staking, but other defi income streams like decentralized play to earn games and hedge funding (like the one proposed by the upcoming Ferox Advisers project), have a lot of potentials.

Defi or (Decentralized finance) opens the doors for huge wealth creation in my opinion.

Staking is just one of many other good ways to grow one's crypto assets. However, one has to always invest what he can afford to lose.

We are yet unsure if staking is really the way to go in the next years to come.  It's an experiment for wealth distribution but it may only work for some projects. The newer tokens that you thought to have 100% APY screens scam in crypto.

ETH is also going to the POS direction which had been planned to be released last year but it's been delayed. If ETH will be successful in releasing and we see it to be sufficient in lowering gas fees, it could work.
