Hello everyone, I rarely post on internet but I have to do it today because Energi (NRG) saved my life.

A hacker got access to my private key, honestly, I still don't know how he got his hands on it because I'm a very careful person.

I have my Energi masternodes (NRG) hosted on Allnodes, a site I consult almost every day to look at the stats of my masternodes (rewards, total earnings, current price).

One day, I see that my masternodes are not there anymore, I check my wallet, nothing left on it. Panicked, I contact an admin on telegram who tells me that he can't do anything and that I have to contact the support by email (support@energi.world). I contact the support, which answered pretty quickly asking for more details and information, which I immediately sent them. As indicated in the article, there would be a requirement of 5000 confirmation for exchange deposits, so what's stopping hackers from depositing it to their wallets in which they have control? How about the voters who can manipulate the votes to approve something? Is having collateral enough for the steps to take? It's pretty hard to take in.

That's right, you have to act fast, it takes 5000 confirmations which is about 3.5 days to be withdrawable from any exchanges Energi is listed on.

The voters can't manipulate the vote as 10% of masternodes must agree which is today about 115 masternodes. There are 1150 masternodes online at the moment.

So can you try to explain it into a few sentences just like the team has recovered your coins but what about your coins that got stolen by the hacker? is it recovering as well? I rarely seen a team that was doing such thing and glad to see that you get back your own token. You can run your own masternode again. It seems like your PC got hijacked by the hacker and that's why he was stealing your coin and stop your masternode. A conclusion is more than enough to explain anything. NRG team show how good it treat its supporters

You realized it too quickly before everything goes out of your hand and thanks to the team as well for recovering the funds but it isn't possible on a complete decentralized chains right? Because once the funds got few confirmations it won't be possible to reverse the transactions without a 51% attack.

I don't know how they lock the hacker's wallet but the stolen funds can be drained by submitting a proposal, 10% of the masternode votes is needed to start the drain.

They are going to release an NFT platform this year, it could save a lot of people from getting their NFT hacked.

This means that the NRGcoin is somewhat centralized?
In the initial launch, even the team can reserve more than 10% of the total supply and you know, not all the supplies are used for the benefit of the masternode by the community. This means that there is no need for the involvement of all existing masternodes, because the project team can represent 10% of the 100% masternodes.

By the way, I don't think your whole story is a natural occurrence, just for promotion purposes.
