Welcome to the forum! I see that you have two options p2p games and player vs the house. Is the websites main network is Matic? and what is the main currency do you accept Bitcoin? I also see in the Player vs House the player needs to pay 0.5 Matic per bet? wouldn't that be too expensive for some of the players?
Hi, thank you for the welcome!
Yes, we are built on the Matic (Polygon) network, so the main currency that we accept is Matic. There is no registration, KYC, or deposit procedure - players can simply connect their MetaMask or Web3 wallet to start playing.
For the P2P Challenge games, all bets are placed with Matic and the player earns BOLD whether they win or lose the bet. Players are predicting whether the price of Bitcoin will go up or down in 5-minute intervals in our Predict the Market game. (BOLD is our native token which can be staked, farmed, used for house games, or traded on Quickswap). The transaction fee for Challenge games is set at 3% of winning bets.
We do currently have the fee for House games set at 0.5 Matic per bet, we're trying to find a happy medium here for something which is fair for players and which goes towards transaction/gas fees for the platform in terms of executing rounds and calling the oracle for a provably fair, random number. The 0.5 Matic fee is a variable that we can change and is likely to be something we tweak as we go forward and get feedback from players, so it's always great to get feedback, especially as we're just starting out!
