Yes, The Reason Of This Is In Your Eyes, I will Use Unmineable Pool For Mining Bitcoin Using Gpu/Cpu, Maybe Im Gonna Add Some Alt-coins like doge coin too, I Will Name This Os Zakar OS, Weird But Please Recommend Any Other Good Name For This Project, This Os Gonna Be Based On Linux Kernel, The First Version Gonna Be CLI, AKA Just Like The Old MS-DOS, But Dont Be Afraid, This Gonna Give Some Good Hash-rate Because There Is Probably No Too Much Another Tasks On The System!, Thanks For Reading, If I Finish The First Version, I Will Share it With You Guys, If You Understand C And Linux Kernel Programming You Are Welcome To Help Me! If it was always about software and not hardware, don't you think we would be having so many such software that would let GPUs/CPUs be very profitable against the latest ASICs?
The kind of pool you are planning to use is even going to eat up some of your profits since they will do the exchanging for you.

Stop daydreaming brother.

First of all, there is a Mining board.
Secondly, you don't seem to have read the BITCOIN MINING INTRO.

No matter if you run Linux with or without GUI, or how well you optimize the OS, it will never be profitable ever again (or even possible to get any amount of valid shares that can be paid out) to mine Bitcoin using a GPU or CPU.
Keep in mind, most of us control their miners like USB ASICs from Linux boxes... that don't have a GUI (SSH login and cgminer). If that would suffice to make CPU mining profitable, we could just do without the USB hashboards, right. Wink

yeah, after some research I found what you say true,so I’m gonna change to slush pool, and that not a issue, and did you say my os gonna make your gpu better than latest asic? Bro, asic price are high, some ppl are poor to buy a asic and just buy some gpus, in this case this ppl gonna need to search the biggest hashrate, and maybe my os can give him this hashrate, I’m gonna try to write some algorithms and memory allocations to make mining experience with GPU better, and y’a, btw C is not easy like you think

Since you said "Mine Bitcoin With Gpu/Cpu!", i'd like to mention that GPU/CPU is far slower and less efficient than ASIC. Why don't you check try to calculate the profit loss based on SHA-256 hashrate for CPU/GPU[1] with any online Bitcoin mining calculator[2]?

yes yes, very true, i understand, but what did you want, im gonna add support for multiple coin on different pools, but this is a Only Bitcoin Forum so i need to say bitcoin, of course im gonna add ethereum and zcash, and monero, overclocking too, but dont think that i dont do some calculations behind the scene

Better make it based on Billdows 11 or vista RTM to get best performance Grin

Good luck to you.
if you trolling then lol, if not, window 11 are not open source, and vista too, im gonna make my os linux based

Okay, so you want to setup a Linux distro to start up in text mode and with some shitcoin mining software preinstalled.
That's far from 'Im Working On Mining Os That Able To Mine Bitcoin With Gpu/Cpu!'.

I think this project is pointless, because for mining altcoins and getting paid in BTC, you can simply download NiceHash and be up and running in 2 minutes. It does exactly this. A 'mining OS' (better call it distro, since this is not a custom operating system) is not needed, because the OS doesn't add overhead to the mining process.

Also keep in mind overclocking from userspace is very tricky on Linux and I generally had the best overclocking experience by doing it from the BIOS anyway. As far as I know, CPU OC helps very little when mining (XMR - the most profitable CPU coin) and GPU OC makes little sense as well, in fact it makes much more sense to undervolt and potentially underclock a bit since it makes the cards much more efficient.

This clearly belongs in Mining (Altcoins), he just writes 'Bitcoin' so it stays here and gets more attention.

Even if you get every clock tick in the CPU to do a hashing instruction, you would still not achieve something even remotely competitive against even a USB ASIC like the Compac F, which does 300GHz+

Good point. It achieves 300GH/s at under 15W of power. With a top-of-the-line 16-core, 5GHz all-core CPU (not sure it exists in this config but let's say so); with a dedicated 1 hash / clock instruction, no overhead, no losses and no CPU cycles required for the OS (all totally unrealistic assumptions), you can at most get 80GH/s at 100% utilization, which means roughly 200-300W of power draw.
Keep in mind such a CPU would also cost nearly $1,000 USD while the Compac F costs $200.

You wont get 80GH/s out of any CPU or GPU ever.

A single thread CPU could probably get 30-80MH/s i.e. max of 1000 times slower than that.

So if you have a dual CPU, 40 core 80 thread machine like I do, you might be able to get ........ 6 or 7 GH/s ...
Though since the 2 CPUs on their own cost me about $10k that would seem rather expensive for ........ 6 or 7 GH/s ...

Yes anyone trying to mine Bitcoin with CPU or GPU has absolutely lost the plot.
Or more likely they are trying to put viruses on hundreds of computers and get them to mine Bitcoin for them.
Alas they will make next to nothing even doing this when Bitcoin mining.

To look at it simply, a 90TH/s miner (about $7000) will mine 3 million times faster than a single core 30MH/s CPU.

The best most expensive GPU's limit at around a few GH/s or less, so they're useless also since they use a truck load of power to do only a few GH/s
