I tried to visit the site from your screenshot ape-nft.io but it seems like that address is wrong.
At any point of time you can just dig in to the smart contract to find out which nft is genuine and which is fake.
Just verify and compare it to the original smart contract and you will find out if it's fake or not.

A good lesson, so we have to be more careful in accepting anything that comes for free. it looks like a scam where it will make us fooled and confused as it is said. there are many modes of fraud that scammers do to deceive many people. for sure they will lure us very well and then they will make us lose. it's true that every day we can learn from the experiences that have happened to be more careful and better in the future. As it is said that profits in the crypto world will not come for free, it takes a process and also hard work in order to be able to manage and generate profits properly.

This is not a new thing. We already face this type of problem with several coins, and all of them are still in my wallet. When you want to sell that coin on a decentralized exchange like uniswap or pancakeswap, you can swap, but you may lose your balance because they set their contract address in a different way where they put their address and whatever transaction you are going to do, they will send you a signature, and if you approve that without checking, you may lose your wallet funds because they send a fund transfer. That is why when we go to add any new token to sell on the market, the decentralised wallet always shows a popup where they alert us about fake coin or token. That is why they always suggest taking the token contract address from the official handle of the coin or token.

Yes, this is obvious a fake website and the good thing is that you can check if in the smart contract to see if this is fake or not.

Everything here should be taken with a grain of salt, and everyone has the responsibility to verify, verify and verify. I can't stressed that anymore, and if by chance you feel to this scammers, then its your fault for not doing your due diligence.

If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?

The trick is every receiver will try to sell and that's when you will be f**ked up, in this crypto haven nothing comes for free, you have to work your ass up to make some gains and rewards, go after only what you sweat and worked for.
Although this lesson that you learned is old, there are many beginners who fall victim to this scam, anyone can create a coin in seconds and can put a name to it similar to the original coin, so you must make sure of the contract for this coin that you want to buy or sell, something similar happened to me. One of the scam projects sent me coins worth more than $10,000 as airdrops that I won for free, but I found that I could not sell them unless I paid huge fees to release them. We must be careful

Such token issuances usually happen on the bsc network. They are often sent for advertising purposes. These tokens are constantly coming to my wallet. Usually, when I trade on pancakeswap, it automatically comes to my wallet. It would be better if you do not approve the aprove transaction to such tokens. Wallet hacks can also happen. In addition, when you look at the contract sections of these tokens, users state that they are direct scams. You can be careful here. In addition, a few scammers send tokens with the same names as the existing tokens. You must be careful.

Scam tokens, things like this, are popping up more and more in this space every day. Some new users are not used to it, and they mistake it for valuables. Ask yourself if you deserve a drop of money, so be wary of anything sent to the wallet.

If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?

Usually tokens that have domains such as .io and others are dusting tokens that are ready to access your wallet when you transact with this dusting token. Your wallet is currently vulnerable to hacker attacks who can access your wallet, one solution is to replace your wallet and be careful in providing wallet data or connecting to dapps.

The trick is every receiver will try to sell and that's when you will be f**ked up, in this crypto haven nothing comes for free, you have to work your ass up to make some gains and rewards, go after only what you sweat and worked for.
Logically, no one wants to give a lot of money for free, cryptocurrency is not heaven, and we must continue to be careful in carrying out cryptocurrency activities.

I experienced it also, but with another token. The method is also different from what I have encountered. At first I was excited to received free tokens worth 1k USD but then when I searched thoroughly I found out in order for you to withdraw those coins you have to trade on their exchange, for which you will be getting points in able for you to convert that coins you received. At that moment I knew something was off and just leave it on my wallet, another month had passed, the coin wasn't any value at all. If I had trade in their exchange I would've used a total of 20k USD, see what they are trying to do? Steal from you slowly and the mean thing is only that coin  is allowable for you to trade in order for you to acquire that points which you can use to withdraw those free tokens. It just means that you have to acquire more of those to get them, what a scheme they have, so be careful of that tokens that they sent you.

The thing is once you received such tokens just leave them be, do not try to send them out or trade them because this will give the scammers access to your wallet fully, I got 350 Luna tokens two days ago which has a link in the description, I knew this isn't the original Luna that we all knew, I just abandoned the wallet and move my fund to another wallet.

If i received any token that i don't know, i usually check the token contract address first.
Most of them are spam tokens, it has been sent to many holders to get attraction from the receivers.
In my opinion, we shouldn't bother those tokens because it can lead us to a scam or phishing.

looks like just a scam, tricks done by fraudsters are very diverse. the point is that we do not easily believe the free. to make money in crypto, we have to work hard. for free ones, sometimes there is an airdrop, and I often receive airdrops.
