Hi guys,

I got a proposal from Coingeek to submit a proposal for a freelancing position. Ordinarily, I charge between $15 and $50 for an article. However, with this job, I may have to do more research and I'm wondering if this platform could pay up to $100 -$200/article. What do you suggest I do? How big is this company, considering they're behind BSV?

Instead of asking how big the company is, what you should be doing is looking at other freelancers and their prices. Now I am no expert when it comes to the time cost of writing articles but I cannot imagine it is something you can do under an hour, at least not for a decent article.

$200 sounds like the minimum to me.

Unless you are new at this and want to gain some recognition in the freelance article writing world and the company is very prestigious. In that case, you could see this as "investing" your time.

I would still not be afraid to ask for 200 though. You need to start with a high starting point when haggling over price. Thats just my thoughts, though.

What is the fair price that you think? If the $15 is enough for you, they will agree because I think it is difficult to find someone who writes articles with good quality and ask for less than that.
Generally, such offers are subject to negotiation but accepting any price may indicate weakness in your efficiency or quality articles because the book is specifically putting a minimum price for writing the article.

Generally $ 200 can be requested with the possibility of adjusting the price if they are not suitable, either if you think this price is exaggerated to your writes, then asks for $ 100.

I know a guy that works for a crypto marketing company and he is on fixed $2k salary, for approximately 15 medium sized (600-700 word) articles per month. Divide that and you get ~$130 per article. Just to note that he is a professional writer, English native and doing this for years.

Keep in mind that competition for those kind of jobs is tough as people all over the world can apply for it so if I am you I would be moderate in demands, and if you prove yourself you can always renegotiate. That of course doesn't mean that you shouldn't negotiate if they try to low ball you and offer like $15 per article (very low imo), as its important to know your worth and not sell yourself cheap.

Coingeek is a known site (I don't visit it though due their pro BSV stance) but even if they are big that doesn't necessarily mean that they are paying very good.

.   They believe in you usually sites like this only hire writers and researchers and they give a fixed amount in your case they wanted you to be part of the team and this is not a small site they're behind one of the top coins in the market so why not charge them with a premium service I'm sure they can pay you $100 or even more because checking the site they have great articles and write ups and it's coming  from the best writers in the industry

I'll also go for $200, you're not applying they want your proposal usually if they asking for a proposal they are asking how much you are charging, you're not in the job interview phase, they already know how you work and how good is your work if they are impressed by your work they will readily accept it if not yet they will bargain professionally, they will counter it with starting rate

Usually the salary is according to his work.If your work is big and very hard then you will get more money. And Coingeek A good platform here you can make more income if you want.

This will matter depend on your skills and your experience coz if you don't have any portfolio to be shown to your client then what you offer to them is okay as long as you find that amount fair. But if your skilled maybe that amount is lower since imagine how technical the job you are accepting but you only got low in return.

So decide if you want to deny what you offer to them or accept it since this job could be added on your portfolio and you will also get benefit on it in future since the more experience you get the more expensive the price you can ask to your future client since experience, skills and quality will always matter here.

They are big, considering they are the company behind BSV they offer people to be one of their contributors because they only want to get the best they are not hiring they only propose if this is their means to recruit people then go for your highest value but do not overpriced yourself, they will counter offer and give you additional incentives just to get you to the team.
