TB250 is a popular motherboard and I am sure some will be using it on here, it has 6 PCI-E for mining I want to know if I can expand this to a 12 rig using a x1 to 7 PCIe USB extender, I except this motherboard to have or support 12 lanes, anyone using this MOBO?

Biostar which had the most solid TB250 motherboard with 6 Pcie slots, one x16 and 5 x1 has lately made a new such motherboard with 12 Pciex slots, there is no need to get a riser to extend to get 12 cards.Even if you already have the old version which I had about 6 of them with 4 GB cards in 2016-2019 period, they worked like a charm and most probably they surely would support more than 6 GPU-s with risers. However if you don't have it yet as I said is better to get the new version with 12 Pcie slots on it by default.

I have to agree. Some gaming motherboards have 6 PCIe so if you're going to get a mining board, go big.

True, if you want to build a mining rig always go big, mining will become an addiction pretty fast, you will end up adding extra GPU from time to time and as time goes on your hashrate will be bigger in number.

I was like, I can only afford six graphic cards and thats it but after a few months I made another money from trading, I ordered for extra six graphic cards again, now im on 500MH.

I have gotten it to 9 GPUs with an M2 adapter and a 4 to 1 pcie adapter but I am out of power on that rig so I stopped adding more.

I ordered for a B250 motherboard and just this TB250 instead, scam seller I guess but I can't send back because I will have to wait another three weeks again, time is going so I just accept this motherboard like that and yes PCIe extender do work perfectly with the motherboard.
