After new epoch 487 my 1060 5Gb and P102-100 5Gb, have stop working. I tried different miners and only lolMiner is working. Let's see how many time still working.

Use Linux to extend your mining with 5GB cards. Windows reserve some Vram for the windows stuff - this i why not enough space for the DAG. With linux you can extend mining for month´s.
By the way - why you not unlock the full 10GB from you P102-100 card? It is possible on every P102-100 5GB and P104-100 4GB.

Wait are you for real? The DAG file isn't even up to 5GB yet, im guessing it should be around 4.7/4.8 DAG file Size, I am glad that lol miner still works for you but for how long? Have you tried every other ETH miners like Trex and NBminer?

I have been hearing people talk about this for some time and I've never seen any tutorials online about this modification, so a P104-100 can go 8gb and a P102-100 can go 10GB? This should have made these cards a hot cake in the market why thats not the case.

You find enough turtorials online. You only need and 10Gb P102-100 bios or P104-100 8GB. Both can be found on techpowerup.

And how to flash a Nvidia GPU can be found everywhere. You only need to find the Bios for the 10GB card.

I tryed all the different miners in HiveOS (TRex, NBMiner, GMiner, ... ) and the only working is lolMiner, I see DAG size is nearly 4.9Gb... It has stopped from yesterday. Happy to continue mining with it :-)

I'm surprised that BIOS modding works for P106-100 and P104-100, this is a better buy for those who likes 1060 6gb graphics card, performance is just the same with gtx1060, they are dirty cheap right now in China around 150$ but it doesn't make sense to build rigs using this card today, the P104-100 is still good though 34MH on ETH.

It must be possible to mine with T-Rex miner for example. You only mining ETH? Can you give us the log from T-Rex miner or lolminer?

And try to unlock the 10GB on your P102.

P106-100 has no modding bios - these card have 6GB and the P106-90 have only 3GB installed physical - so you can only unlock the P104-100 and P102-100. By the way - anyone have 10GB Bios for the P102? Techpowerup delete it.

But even after the BIOS unlock for the P106-100 and P104-100 the hashrate won't get better, you will still get 20MH out of the P106-100 and 32MH out of the P104-100, no difference than longer support of ETH mining.

1060 5Gb cannot be modified with BIOS firmware. This is the version with 5 GB of RAM. I would use hive os and lol miner. 102-100 5Gb can be modified to get 10 GB of RAM. Try to flash the BIOS of one video card and test it in mining, and after a few days update the BIOS on other video cards.

Congrats 👏 man, consider yourself lucky, I am curious I just want to know what type of motherboard you are using, because a motherboard with x16 slot have advantages when using even a 4GB graphic card.
