I would like to present you a project on which I am working since october 2021 now. It's called Tipmymeme and it's a Web 3.0 app working on multiple blockchains (Binance Smart Chain and the Polygon Network for now) using IPFS.

You can post all your memes on the decentralized web and start receiving tips from the users.

In a near futur, we will offer the possibility to all users to transform their memes in NFTs. You will be able also to buy or sell NFTs on the Tipmymeme NFT market.

Memes have become the way our generation responds to life events. Whether they be catastrophic or everyday things, everyone has a meme response to represent how they feel. It's the language of the new generation. People like Elon Musk are basing big part of their communication on memes.

How do you plan to make a meme as NFT while the original meme material themselves are copyrighted to the original owner (not the creator)?

Memes are protected by copyright law.  This means that the creator of the meme has special rights in the meme.
Although it may not seem like it – the reuse of a meme, whether by posting or sharing – violates copyright law. And the fact that often times the creator of a meme is unknown does not absolve the individual’s infringement or prevent the creator from enforcing their copyright.
