After months of speculation about a possible vampire attack, dominant NFT marketplace OpenSea may finally have a worthy – and more thoroughly decentralized – competitor: LooksRare.
According to a Dune Analytics dashboard, in the past 24 hours the fledgling non-fungible token marketplace has hosted $105 million in trading volume, generating 613 ETH (nearly $2 million) in platform fees to be distributed to LOOKS token stakers in the coming hours, according to pseudonymous co-founder Zodd.

A Florida home was auctioned off as an NFT (non-fungible token) — a potential first for both real estate and cryptocurrency.

The Gulfport four-bedroom house sold for $653,163 of ether, and the winning bidder now holds the NFT, signifying ownership on-chain.

Sega is also interested in adding NFTs into future games as revealed in an interview with various executives and producers. During that same interview, Sega talked more about its “Super Game” projects, confirming that it will be more than one game and some of them could involve streaming and cloud gaming.

According to a report by Coingecko, the NFT market is now expected to move more than $800 billion in the coming two years. The report, which mostly utilized investors from Asia and the Pacific, highlighted that of 871 respondents, around 72% of them already own NFT(s), with more than 50% of them declaring that they had 5 or more.
