We all saw the fiasco that was Terra Luna… and with this destruction of the whole ecosystem a whole bunch of good ideas and projects trying to build awesome stuff on Terra came to a crashing halt.

All those projects have been left hanging or dead probably forever, but I think there might still be hope.

As you know terra is basically built on Cosmos SDK, and Maya protocol (Thorchain fork) is compatible with the cosmos SDK in which projects can be built, and I’ve heard rumors that maybe Maya could integrate and provide support for those projects that were building on Terra.

I think this is a pretty cool idea that prevents projects with real potential to be affected by the trainwreck that is Terra Luna and USD.

You mean help those severely affected projects to migrate easily? It's a good marketing strategy for them if that is the case. It's still up to the developers if they want to take that offer. My guess is that most of them will continue to build on Luna. They are just waiting the result of the voting and the implementation of the revival plans.

Yeah but it's not only that even BSC already offered for the projects that built in the terra to migrate on the BSC chain. I guess basically that's quite easy to migrate this but that depends on the project owner itself. There will always be a hope for the project that built in the terra network.
Betting to stick into the popular blockchain such as BSC. These projects can still get huge demand as well.

Projects can migrate to a new chain with support from core team behind a new chain but it takes time and so many resources as well as efforts. It is not easy to be said.

LUNA can be hard-forked and separated to 2 chains: LUNA Classic and LUNA (new one) but to develop and rebuild the two ecosystems won't be easy. Especially the market is in bear trend. People are fearful and have less energy to work. If they look at projects that are in troubles, legal issues, they will choose to do easy thing, just keep watching, and staying outside.

Name one "good idea and project" that was build on terra Smiley Most of them are just tokens that are created to collect founds from investors to build something in the future ... or maybe not. So whats the problem to spend 5 min to create new token on bsc and let anyone to swap 1:1 via bridge? Reliable blockchain with big userbase is always a better place to find investors.

There are plenty projects that are building on Luna and these projects should really be more careful on choosing which network they will migrate too. I think they can choose more sensible replacement such as eth, avax or bsc network as Ive seen such privilege and opportunity to rebuild what was ruined on Luna. Its gonna be a hard task for them but hopefully these affected projects choose a scalable one that can handle massive transaction and remains its usability without paying a lot of fees

but I think there might still be hope.
Sorry but, there's no hope on that project anymore. No matter how hard the developers would keep up with it, there's really no hope at all. The reviving plans, won't work so do the other projects that want to try to help it won't also work.
And if I'm a developer, I'll stay away from Luna network and will choose a better one that has a better reputation and can handle its own problem properly, SOL did that and it didn't make that much noise when they've got an issue.

On chain upgrade means addition of new contracts and agreement with the other party (in this case Maya) or anyone whose willing to support the sufferer projects. The problem is they will need to invest heavily in those contracts and transferring of data, patching the projects with chain and putting the previous tokenomics with new one is tedious work. I mean for these previous devs it would be better to start from scratch with same ideas rather than doing those things above.

In any case, all projects working on the Terra Luna blockchain will have to migrate to different networks if the plan to revive Luna does not succeed, we have to wait a little bit to see the results after the fork, and then we will see how it will be, although there are many doubts, but hopes are high for the success of the rescue plan. In the event of failure, the best alternative network would be Binance BSC, because it has become very popular and has high features, and it would be good for these projects to move there.

They are switching for them to survive and this could be their best decision because it looks like Terra is going to be left behind as the developer will try to create another coin which means they will forget the old one. Some project are still good and their developer don’t want to abandon it, they maybe affected by the price right now but for sure if they are able to migrate, they will start to recover again.

I hope that the projects in the terra will try to take such offer. They need to migrate their platforms into the new blockchain with promising future rather than still try to use this dead blockchain. The projects in terra are still have hope to build in another blockchain. I think that they must migrate their platforms. No reason to stay in the terra blockchain anymore and people are feeling inconvenience with this blockchain. The developers need to take a very wise decision for this.

While it would take time I think it is a better idea to jump off the sinking ship that is Terra Luna and for the developers of those projects to find an alternative blockchain in which they can release their project, however the real question is if those people actually have the expertise to do something like that? Because as we know a great deal of the developers that create coins do so only for the money and they have no idea of how to accomplish something like this.

Unfortunately, the bugs in the LUNA ecosystem at that time were known by the attacker, so it was very easy for them to destroy LUNA in a fairly short time. I understand LUNA was indeed a good project at the time, unfortunately what they developed in their DeFi became their biggest weakness which resulted in the destruction of their ecosystem and it was completely irreversible. I hope that in their new version of LUNA, they can fix their mistakes especially in the DeFi ecosystem part.

Name one project built on the Terra ecosystem that provides any value and you'll have your answer.
