You do it manually using your favorite block explorer, or hire someone with expertise to do so. As far as I know one of the biggest companies that tracks/analyzes blockchains is Chainalysis[1]. If you're looking to hire such a service, I'm going to guess that it's going to cost a good amount of money lol.

Bitcoin never got hacked due to high security, it's either your wallet or exchange got hacked due to your own fault or the poor services.

Consider to hire if you lose really huge amount since it wasting your time to track it yourself (even you know where's the Bitcoin belong to an exchange, they wouldn't give you their client information to unknown stranger asked in their email) and hire a lawyer will cost you a lot. Not to mention you could hire a fake lawyer.

You mean your wallet that got hacked? Even youll know the address of that, theres a lot of things to do like tracking the owner of the wallet which is quite hard since bitcoin wallet is decentralized and its gonna be hard to start with that and where it was came from. You lucky enough that it will go to centralized exchange you can ask the details of the owner however, if not like that. For sure if there is a service that accept this, he will ask for a huge payment. Cause its not damn easy to do that.

Is this post in anyway related to the one you made in 2017, about a hacker who hacked your Gmail account and emptied your (then) blockchain.info wallet address?
If it is and you're still looking to trace the Bitcoins stolen, this should be because they have not yet been liquidated or even possibly moved to a different wallet, or that it has been liquidated and you want to trace the final destination.

You can hire a service, like the one in the first reply to trace the flow of the transaction, you would surely need legal support to be able to getvoersnal details of the accounts the bitcoins were liquidated into.

I see no point in tracing down such accounts where we have either lost the keys or entire wallet is hacked. I mean the cost does not make sense. One thing is sure, person with huge amount of money in their bitcoin account would never loose their keys so easily and secondly they will always keep multiple copies of the same secured smartly.

This is why I remember there was one discussion recently where you should always split your bitcoin into multiple wallets and preferably keep decent amount on the hardware wallet.

If it’s tiny amount then just forget about it, you will exhaust yourself recovering them. That’s because bitcoin is built on the ideology of security, and anonymous nature.

Well, now you can well understand that this process will cost money and doing your cost analysis, Is the total amount of Bitcoin to be traced worth much more than what it will cost to trace them? I wouldn't think so cos if they were, we wouldn't be here having this discussion. I hope this was just for educational purposes and you haven't really lost your Bitcoin.

Yes there is but it's so risky to hire a freelancer but you can always ask your local authority under cyber crime department to help you with tracing your Bitcoin because they have personnel experts on this. Chainalysis is one of the famous company that trace hack Bitcoin but I doubt they will do the job for you because there client mostly big companies.

Try your luck by posting your job offer on the services section of this forum. There are many talented user here that specilized on blockchain transaction tracking.

It was 79 BTCs
Shocked Shocked Shocked Even in this current Bitcoin price, that's in millions of $ now but was this hacked from an exchange or your personal wallet? Sorry to hear this but are you really trying to go through this effort just to see if there is any leading information or to realize back which I believe is the case, so, I would agree with @Henrobakkara that if the cost of doing this is right and hope the right person/institute are employed not to lose even more.

If you cannot afford to hire a professional service, which seems quite expensive, it may be worthwhile to try to find individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge in the community. You can, for example, offer a reward or define a fee for any evidence that can help you find the perpetrator. I suggest you consider using the escrow service from one of the respectable members so you can give confidence to potential investigators.

Have you made a police report yet?

The problem with tracing Bitcoin transactions is that there is no obvious link and that the point where the funds were deposited into the exchange can very well be after the keys/Bitcoins have been sufficiently washed and passed around. There wouldn't be any incriminating evidence to freeze those funds. Exchanges are not known to be very cooperative with divulging their customer's identity without sufficient evidence to the authorities.

If you're aware that it has gone to an exchange, then you can provide it to the authorities and that is about it. No tracing services would be able to do much more than that.

I did some track , and he made one mistake he (hacker) left a foot print on poloniexx
Then try to talk on poloniex and reported that thr user deposited on their exchange came from a hacker who sweep your wallet.  Not sure how this work but they will definitely ask for your details and some information about the hacked. They cant move right away, cause they need to validate some information for sure and make sure that it was you got hacked and how they will apprehend the users cause maybe the kyc used there is fake or what. Who knows what is the situation.

Oh yes I did made the report and I also put google on court due to the hack on my google account . The case is well officially documented. I just wanna see if there is any connection to points of liquidid . I dont think in recovery the coins only "names"

Not sure if there have been positive developments since you made this post, but the following services might come in handy:
Note: I prefer to not vouch for any of them [DYOR] + some of them tend to ignore individual cases!
