High odds or low odds, which do you prefer?

Same as this I used to play high odds on tennis. This was years back when the price is ethereum was $200. I don't remember the players into the match, but it was a match that delayed between two player and the ranks differ alot. Due to some technical reasons the match got postponed after completion of one set. This increased the odds and I placed @10.1, and left it. I didn't remember that I've placed a bet. To my surprise the match got won. From there I used to place bet on high odds.

I specifically like football gambling. When I started to gamble, I go for high odds, but I was not that experienced and I lost a lot. I gained experience but I preferred to gamble on low odds. Only what this led me to is to play more and I noticed losses too. This is just a means someone can also become addicted because low odds will only want you to accumulate and bet more. in my opinion low odds are not profitable in the long run, that's because even when the person wins many games, it is enough to lose a few games to be in loss, the ideal is to bet on odds above @1.60 because at least it is profitable in the long term. of course there are people who like to bet more on mult bets and with odds of @2.00 and for these people they can make profits quickly, in my case I prefer moderate odds but above @1.60 and also as I am not an expert so I don't win much

Yeah it's often the low odds win you something and the high odds burst you out.

But whenever you put the money on high odds and win it , the feels much more great than when you win on a low odds ... that what makes me prefer to choose on a high odds bet over the low odds.
Despite yeah nothing guarantee in gambling , i am now chasing for the thrill not only for the outcome , that's why the high odds fits me more.

Of course it is, the higher odds have higher risk too, so if you win on an underdog team, you're somewhat beating the house/operators. But difference sports will have difference chance to make an upset, in football honestly either favorite and underdog team have same chance to win, because there's nothing new if underdog win the match. Also in football the chance of the match ended as draw is higher to compared to other sports.

One way of thinking would be that something that pays too little, but has way more chances of happening, is probably not as appealing to a gambler because the win wouldn't make too much a difference.

On the other hand, if the chances of happening are very low, and therefore the payout very high, a gambler might assume it's lost money, but in the event he actually wins, it might potentially be life changing.

The second scenario seems to me to be more attractive.

As for betting on matches, I don't do it very often. Usually these are matches of the national team. Since my team's odds depend on the discipline and the quality of opponents, I don't have a favorite odds level. But the emotions are always greater when odd are higher, so I guess that's what I prefer.
