How to remove tamper-evident sticker residue safely?

I have a couple of DiY silver coins (redeemed) that I'd want to remove the hologram sticker residue. Is there a safe way to do this without damaging the coin itself? If I manage to remove the residue, I will send them to ICG for grading as "blank" coins.

Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I use “goof-off” which is basically a water soluble lemon based solution to remove mine. I have never had a problem with it marring, destroying, tarnishing, etc any finish or surface of any coin yet…. I’ve used it on silver, silver plate, copper, brass, 3D printed PLA, plastic, and a bunch more and never had a prob

Warm/ heat the coin up (blow dryer maybe), add some industrial grade Acetone to a rag and slowly work and clean it off. Could always try iso alcohol too (91% or higher) and probably have a similar result. Not too sure what it should be treated with afterwards to keep the coin "clean" but I'm guessing doing anything outside of getting the residue off might affect value anyway.

This is an interesting topic actually because so many of us have redeemed coins!

I have used WD40 to remove levels before, though not on coins! the key will be to avoid
any scrubbing or rubbing action that could scuff or mark the metal. Using a chemical
will help reduce the rubbing but also to be mindful of corrosion.

I think I will go for Bullion-n-BTC's solution. The "goof-off" method seems a hell of a lot easier and safer to do than just applying 91% alcohol. Silver pieces are quite delicate, so it's best for me to use something that's proven safe for removal of sticky residue.

I've bought the solution online, but will not be able to apply it to the coin until after the holidays. If things go wrong, I will be sure to let you guys know about it.

You need to apply heat, maybe with hair drier and use something oil based to remove any leftovers.
I had to remove one hologram style void residue from laptop cover and for that I had to use rubbing alcohol with magic sponge, but be careful with this stuff.
It removed everything from laptop but surface is visibly different coloration compared to surrounding material from laptop cover.
