I'm ready to sell off all other rtx3070ti and 3080 ti in my farm for A2000 cards but I can't find where to get this cards for good price and they seem scarce from my buying source, anyone building mining rigs with these cards this days.

are you usa based?

I can get them but they are not cheap.

I have a link for them in a usa store the 6gb are $515

and the 12gb are $766

To me they are too costly at those prices.

Are you having issues with memory overheating?
This is a very bad time to sell your graphics cards. You will sell them very cheap and buy NVIDIA RTX A2000, more expensive. The NVIDIA RTX A2000 has 6 GB of memory and there are models with 12 GB of memory. The gain in energy consumption is also small. Better solve cooling problems.

Maybe he likes the improved efficiency. They would be perfect for me if I could get the 12 gb at 500 or the 6gb at 400

I would argue he should look into the 3060ti they are now unlocked and do 60mh

I can get them under 500 new from real stores in the usa

Instead of one GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, he needs to use 2 NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics cards. This will require the purchase of additional components for mining. $500 for 40 megahash is very expensive now if everything ends on September 19th. I'm trying to talk him out of making mistakes.

yep it is why I listed the 3060 ti cards  as they cost less and have more hash

3060 ti = 3070 just about
Why change 3070ti to 3070? Cheaper to change thermal pads or install additional cooling.
If there is a very good exchange offer, but where can he find it now?
Next time he doesn't need to buy hot video cards or buy closed cases with powerful fans.

Replace Ampere GPUs with more expensive Ampere GPUs, sure why not? Do it in a depresssed market flooded with used GPUs. even better.
Seriously?Huh?

I found some 3060 they will do 50mh and cost 385 to 417

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pny-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-12gb-xlr8-gaming-revel-epic-x-rgb-single-fan-graphics-card/6454318.p?skuId=6454318

I ordered the pny 1 fan model above 385 before tax and discounts.

about 374 after tax and discounts.

it is a better choice (i think) than paying 650-700 for a 12gb a2000

and i ordered the two fan model for 410 before discounts and coupons
398 after discounts.

Op should look for 3060 cards as they do 50 mh and about 90 watts (i think)

A0000 series cards have some advantages, they don't have LHR and they are a good fit in riserless motherboards.
But they are hard to get and cost more than equivalent RTX-3000. I would also guess the price cuts have affected RTX
more than A which increases the price premium so you'd lose hash/$ in the trade.

It's not a good idea selling your 3070ti and 3080 ti right now

1. You will sell lower.
2. LHR graphic cards are already unlocked.
3. A2000 is not cheaper, you will need to add more money from your pocket with the RTX 30s money.
4. 3070ti do 80MH and 3080 ti do more, no point in selling

This your idea only make sense if we are in a bull market .

This idea doesn't make sense in any market. In a bull market, you will sell graphics cards for a high price and buy other GPUs for a high price. In a bear market, you will sell cheap graphics cards and buy new ones at a higher price. It's a good option to sell the GPU at the end of a bull market and buy in a bear market, but we don't know when that will be.
