I think Macau's gambling operation is now 100% fully operational.

The news about the Covid lockdown can't be seen anymore in most countries.

Covid-19 is now treated as regular flu now. Don't get me wrong here. I just want to treat it that way.

People also don't panic about Covid-19 or there are new variants anymore, because it's been treated as a common cold.

Yes that is because there are now vaccines available for covid19 and I think the reason why face masks are still required is because of that new variant and experts haven't invented a vaccine for it so it can be deadly once a person gets it.

Can't say full or 100 percent for now, till the new variants of the viruses are cleared out. I think those who decided to close, do already opened up their own online versions before. People are just waiting for some official global announcement that wearing mask wont be necessary since there's a cure for covid-19 completely.The thing on why people do still wear mask is that this pandemic isnt over yet and there's still chance that this would become worst if wont be  controlled that well but in todays situations where classes and businesses are going back to normal then we could really say that this pandemic is nearly over but we shouldnt really be still that confident since there are still people who tested positive with corona virus although the rate or numbers arent really that high compared when this pandemic starts.
For Macau then if they do able to open up their doors amidst of pandemic then how much more into this present day where every business is opening up their doors already?

Now a strict lowdown is being implemented in the city of Chengdu, which is home to 21 million people. And this is despite dozens of individuals dying from a recent earthquake. How is it even possible to impose a lockdown, when the residents are reeling from a natural catastrophe? And in Macau, casinos are losing business to other destinations such as Singapore, due to the lockdown measures. Bloomberg reported this yesterday:

It's probably the mindset of the Chinese government, they are somewhat paranoid of the Covid-19 cases that they don't want to have their name or at least the country that they have control to be in the headlines again, so that's why they have to shut it down again.

I guess whales have other options like the Philippines wherein gambling industry is thriving as it is already open and I've seen a lot of foreigners playing again, mostly Chinese, Japanese and Koreans.
