I think this is the best Bitcoin-only hardware wallet. They also have a new model,  Coldcard Q, but like the older MK4 model, it’s not for beginners , it’s more suitable for slightly advanced users. However, beginners can also learn to use it easily, as there are many tutorials on YouTube with clear explanations. Here’s one tutorial where one of the biggest Bitcoin YouTubers, known for his tutorial, BTC Sessions, explains to  Natalie Brunell , a well-known journalist and Bitcoiner who hosts Bitcoin podcasts , through a step-by-step process on how to set up the Coldcard MK4 and how to use it.Despite being a total beginner, she quickly managed to understand it.

Worth it in what sense?

Coldcards are in the group of hardware wallets I would consider purchasing if I needed such a device now. It wouldn't be my first option, though. It's completely airgapped and that's a big plus. That makes it better and safer than any USB-connected hardware wallets with Trezor and Ledger being the two best-known brands. Being airgapped also makes it a bit more difficult to use because you will be handling PSBTs and importing/exporting them from and to different devices. If open-source is crucial to you then you should know that Coldcard isn't open-source. It's source-verifiable, though.

If you are ready to learn how airgapped hardware wallets work and what makes them safer than traditional hardware wallets, then a Coldcard, Seedsigner, Jade, Passport, etc., is definitely worth it.

If you're looking for Bitcoin-only hardware wallet, also check hardware wallet called Foundation Passport. Trezor also offer Bitcoin-only firmware if you're looking for one from more popular brand.

No it's not worth it, and it's probably going to be obsolete very soon, like mk3 and many other of their deprecated hardware wallets.
Coldcard is NOT open source device, and there are much better hardware wallet alternatives.

One of the features that catches my attention most in coldcard is seed xor, an advanced cryptographic method for scrambling a seed by splitting it into two or more BIP-39 seeds. If applied well by the user, it offers good plausible deniability. It's a feature I'd like to see in other hardware wallets like Krux, Passport, etc.
