OP, don't be over greedy. Crypto space is a high-risk market where money can be lost with no explanation. That's just the harsh reality for now. We don't know when the price will go up or down, so the most important thing is to not panic sell because of this volatility! If in the future you still have some extra money, maybe you can invest more. I know that many people are excited about the crypto market however I would rather be cautiously optimistic than overly enthusiastic here.

Cryptocurrency in general is not safe but bitcoin in crypto is safe to invest with and if you to invest then you need to kearn how do investment in bitcoin works in other to avoid you loosing your funds for rrasons that could have been avoided if you are knowledgeable enough about bitcoin, dont invest all your funds into an investment at ones, you can take some share out of it to do investment with other assets outside cryptocurrency and ensure your investment is limited to bitcoin only as a beginner.

Investment in cryptocurrency is save but you have to be care with the coin you want to buy don’t use all your money to invest in a coin, always invest any amount you can afford to lose and if you want to hold you should be ready to hold for long time and you should make sure you buy top coins and not shit coins, shit coins can’t be trusted.

If you're in doubt about whether you will invest your money, all or not then you did the right thing of asking first because it shows that you're interested in it.
But, don't invest wholly if you don't understand it the whole time. It is a matter that you should DYOR before doing anything else with your money.
In investments even if it's bitcoin, you can't skip the volatility of it, and if we can take it easily. Maybe, you can't handle it well. And that's why you have to test and do it when you're ready after your research.

We'll look at crypto being safe as = bitcoin being safe.  In terms of security, yes, bitcoin is safe.  In term of Bitcoin being safe in terms of holding your value and increasing it, then yes, esp if you also include the inflationary impact fiat.

However if you're looking for reliable and less risky crypto to invest in, then go for Bitcoin and hold for long term. Is crypto safe? That depends on what you mean by being safe. If it is in safekeeping, yes, it is safe provided you know how to keep it safe. And if it's in trading, it is the same as other asset classes, it is not safe, it is risky. However, this does not mean that you can't gain through its holding and trading, but you must first learn how to trade and be sure you are adequate for trading.

Lastly, it will be so unwise to invest all your money in crypto. You can't afford to lose everything, so you are disobeying the first rule of investment if you invest all your money in any risky asset, which crypto appears to be one of them.
