Hey dear bitcointalk community,

my F5M is not running properly and I am looking for a firmware to reload it.

cheetah-miner.com does not have one, neither does my supplier.

Maybe you guys can help out here. Smiley

Greetings from Germany!

Currently, no one share this firmware I tried to search in the entire forum and Google but no one shares this firmware.

These cheetah units don't have much support here and they don't even have official support.

What I think you can only do is buy a new control board to replace it or find someone who can dump their own firmware and send it to you.

do you know why miner dont start?
"it said not warm enough to start mining 25 from 40 degree"
i try to power on without any fan and 1 hashboard is run normally as soon as it reached 45degree celcius,
i think this problem should be firmware error , any suggestion?

Do you have a hair blower? Or anything that can heat your miner a bit like exposing it to the sun. That's the only thing that I think you can do for now for this unit.

Next time don't buy miners without support only buy miners that have lots of support like bitmain units.

The reported error says it all -- the miner is too cold to start.
The operating parameters of all semiconductors (as in chips) change as their temperature changes and most if not all ASIC-based miners are designed to run best at fairly high temperatures. The end result is that they need to be well, warm, before they will even start their normal warmup routine.

Soooo, 1st question is: What is the ambient temperature where the miner is? Ideally it should be 20c or more. Per the error msg seems they want to be at at least 25c...
