Thinking of it, one other thing that might be used as an argument for getting local board is maybe a pie chart or something similar to show ranks of currently active members for let's say this year or last 12 months, just to show that it's not some newbies writing there (that have tendencies going afk), but long term high ranking members too. Something like I did here.

Social media awareness has not been part of the forums mode of operation and since my small time being here I've got to understand that here is more of an entirely different space. This thread is only for monthly overview of the activities going on in the Naija Local board as a whole.

I know that to be active here in this local board is not that mandatory but it is very necessary and so much important to always be active here no matter how busy we may found ourselves individually, although I'm not perfect but at least we should always remember to be active so that we can also motivate those newbies that has newly joined that there is always a reason to be active in this local board because they will actually learn allot from here before excelling out side the local board and sometime it marvels me to see a small number of members that are active in the monthly overview, if i have not be active here in this local board, i have mandated myself to be contributing to any topics that i have ideas of within the local board and outside here too.

I really appreciate the wonderful work that you have been doing for this great naija local board @Amphenomenon, i know that you have been doing this great work even before i joined this forum, you have make sure that you always keep updating all members that are active and also contributed ideas within the forum in the monthly overview of nigeria local board, I'm glad to see myself in the table this monthly overview of nigeria local board because unlike last monthly overview on this local board, i couldn't see myself in the table and i didn't panic but encouraged me to put more effort, that i will be lucky next month for me to see myself in the table, and i know that my effort in this local board is not yet enough but this time around i will always putting in my best to be active and i will never slack behind.

It's always a pleasure to see myself in this chart monthly even though I was third on the list of Top posters, I still couldn't make it to the list of Top merit earners. I really have a lot of work to do. It's not just about making a post, making a good matters too.

If it is just 5 posts that you can make in a week on the local board, it is better to make just 5 good quality posts than posting more that are not having quality. Also it should not be about competition at all but it should be just more about quality.

Learning is also important and one doesn't have to make replies to learn just going through threads can enlighten one in order to know and enlighten others better.

Quality posts makes us stand out outside our Lb and these are among ways of improving post quality.

absolutely dude , It’s true that staying active here, even when life gets hectic, makes a big difference not just for ourselves but for the whole community. New members especially need that encouragement and example to feel welcome and motivated.
