Hello,

I'm a beginner trying to get started with mining using my GekkoScience R909 that I have connected to my Raspberry Pi running Umbrel.

I need step by step help and would be very grateful if anyone can help me with this.

Thank you in advance!

The most important thing is to use the good version of cgminer and not a shitty one which could lead to the loss of your coins

https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer is what you should use if you have any doubt.

Happy hashing !

Hello all -

I ended up deciding to use my macbook to set it up instead of trying to use the umbrel raspberry pi - it was much more straightforward.

Thank you all for your help!
