I'm sure it will be a disaster to OP if he started from scratch knowing that he doesn't know that much on how to run as a manager. OP could also be overwhelmed with the participants given that there are literally hundreds of participants on each bounty allocations. I also tried to be a bounty manager and honestly I myself experienced being overwhelmed with the participants joined in it.
If he, OP, thinks that he wants to become a bounty manager because he is willing to get high payment from the developer, he may face some disappointment. Because we also know what kind of bounty and projects running a bounty campaign. We see that some professional managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz, and others have been right now, but we also don't know exactly what they have passed over the years to build their reputations. They must face so many challenges and it will not be easy. But, it is not an impossible mission if the OP can really learn and build his reputation very incredibly to run a trusted and paid exactly bounty
