Probably if he doesn't hide his identity, the blockchain is useless today.  Smiley

Seeing the recent fate of the creator of Cash App, Bob Lee,  I don't blame Satoshi from staying in the shadows.  There are some dangerous people who are behind the current financial system

Cashapp owner, Bob Lee was stabbed to death in San Francisco, however the news is still unclear because he's definitely one of the good guys we have in the space and made payment a little bit easier for transactions. He mainly focus on America for his business and his idea was welcom by the Americans. Satoshi Nakamoto would have been a prime target by top influential in the world, they would work day and night just to eliminate him from the market because his presence is a threat to their businesses and Satoshi have growned over the years without any form of recognition of his face, it's meant to be discreet and it's quite good for him.

What could have been his fate if he made himself known from the beginning? And later after Bitcoin is recognized?
I don't think he/she would guess, that BTC will get that much attention, maybe he (Satoshi) is extra introverted or pre-caution to not get stuck in legal laws for his whole life as SBF and other big Innovators have been stuck.

If he would expose his identity, he would be forced to make it centralized just from the beginning of it, but he was anonymous and I think he made the right choice.  Secondly, he would be the most famous person in the digital world (I'm not saying he is not but more than now). As he holds 9,80000 BTC in his wallet and there is no sign of activity on it which suggest maybe he is dead leaving this btc behind?

One thing that confuses me, he was on this forum and posted his posts about the first ever BTC token and Blockchain here, and not been active since 2010. The real question that confuses me is if he is publicly here on the media what will be the reaction of authorities? And he is the founder of this forum too.

I must say that I'm now a Bitcoin addict and an ardent fan/supporter of Satoshi Nakamoto and the good initiative Bitcoin technology has brought to the world. But there are these questions that have been ringing in my head day and night as I continue to be curious about this man/men that brought this revolution to the financial space.

I would like people to furnish me with their views even though I personally believe that he would have been haunted by the world governments at the initial stage.

What could have been his fate if he made himself known from the beginning? And later after Bitcoin is recognized?
We all know that Bitcoin is hated by the government and Centre banks of all nations, simply because it takes the control over people's funds from their hand, and as such if Satoshi Nakamoto had made himself known from day one he should have been an enemy to the government and hunted down or imprison since for developing such a decentralized technology. So he staying anonymous is one of the beauty Bitcoin has today, as it can't be affected by government policy.

Satoshi planned things carefully from the beginning. He knew that giving birth to an alternative currency outside the control of governments and central banks alike would not come without risks. Either such entities would've prosecuted Satoshi, or BTC would've become a centralized coin within its early days. I'm glad things worked out exactly as planned, as now Bitcoin is a "force to reckon" with. No one knows the whereabouts of Satoshi, but it doesn't really matter since the project is now in the hands of the community.

What we need to pay close attention to is Satoshi's BTC holdings on the Blockchain. If coins are moved to another address, that means Satoshi is alive. I just hope he doesn't sell all of his BTC, or that would crash the price real hard. That wouldn't affect the Blockchain's operations, though. Bitcoin has been doing fine without Satoshi, so I'm pretty sure it will last a lifetime if it remains decentralized and censorship-resistant. Just my opinion Smiley
