The next time you stay at an Airbnb, order your wallet of choice and have it shipped there under a fake name. Before ordering, confirm with the vendor that the delivery will not require a signature.
This is a big IF, and I wouldn't risk ordering anything expensive like that, different delivery companies and different countries have totally different rules about imports and signatures.
Renting a PO box is much cheaper than traveling and doing Airbnb just to receive a package.
Correct, there is the worst-case-scenario risk of losing the package due to issues with the delivery, leading to loss of payment. However, I think that, at least in some locations and jurisdictions, this risk can be effectively mitigated through careful planning and research. Ultimately, it's up to the buyer if this is a risk they want to take.
There is however another interesting service I found recently sub-rosa.at for anon delivery of packages, but it is limited only to Vienna, Austria (for now).
This looks like a good option. Just booked my ticket to Vienna
