I know there are simulators for quantum computers that can get to 10 bits.
It is a good check of state of the art of quantum computers.
Actually, bits are for regular computers, while qubits are used in quantum computers. I know you might not be familiar with the term. Successfully cracking a qubit can be challenging because the current quantum processors, like those from IBM and IonQ, which I’m aware of, have limited qubits and, more importantly, noisy qubits. To crack a qubit, you would need a clean, entangled, and error-free qubit system, which is still rare even in research labs.
If anyone still wants to continue with this competition, I would recommend IBM quantum processors.
