I was in a country for holiday and had lost my wallet and passport, so I was in urgent need of some cash. My family could not send me any money online (at this time I did not know about bitcoin)
BUT.. maybe i don't remember but I had some hundreds of dollars in my PayPal account, so I asked around if anyone wanted to trade PayPal for cash. (People thinking i was a retarded robber maybe
)
Anyway.. When I realised it was impossible i went back to my hotel room and open Google and brain storm and looking all online "How to change PayPal to cash instant".... But only came up to scam webiste's at least what I thinking in the time... Then after an hour I did find out
localbitcoins and at that time, my life was gonna to take a huge positive change.
It's good to know you came across Bitcoin earlier on before now and still trusting it with your incredible portfolio, and I'm glad it did actually came to your aid in Thailand when you needed cash for basic transactions. But what I'm most happy about here is that Bitcoin helped in getting you financially stable after prison through your p2p trading, change you from drinking & smoking and making you now a good family man.
So how look my portfolio look today?
BTC - worth of 13.200:-
USDT - worth of 4.800:-
DODGE - worth of 3.740:-
SOLANA - worth of 1.760:-
The amount is not in US DOLLARS its DKK.
This is a reasonable portfolio if I must confess, because I just did a rough research and got to understand that DKK means "Denish Krone" which is the official currency of the Kingdom of Denmark, and if converted to U.S dollar, 1usd is equal to 6.8Dkk. Whereas the sum total of your portfolio is 23,500Dkk, which is the same as or approximately 3,455usd (i.e 23,500Dkk/6.8Dkk = 3,455usd). If I'm not mistaking.
I know USDT is probably not the invest currency to go, but I bought some because of avoid the problem I had with BTC transfer that happen like a month ago when the fee's was so high.
But only if had you used a noncustodial Bitcoin wallet, you would have been able to select how much fees you were willing to pay prior those period of high transaction fees, which is why it's good to always keep our Bitcoin wallet where we own its private key, and not on an exchange where you have no control over your funds. e.g Electrum
