As a first step on your journey in this amazing technology, you must understand how Bitcoin and blockchain work. You should also understand how to store Bitcoin safely, such as choosing a wallet and keeping your private key safe.
There are many resources here that you can explore, never get bored of reading some of the tips that have been shared or pinned on several different boards to increase your knowledge, you can also use the search feature in the top right corner by entering keywords before searching.

Always invest your free time to visit forums to broaden your knowledge by reading some important topics that discuss Bitcoin, you should also be more often directly involved in discussions to increase your understanding of Bitcoin, if you encounter any problems, don't hesitate to ask, you will get satisfactory answers from other users.

Welcome to the great bitcointalk forum, If you find yourself in a new place learn the rules and regulations governing that place to enable you to understand how things are done there. I recommend you go through the rules and regulations provided to you above by some reputable members of this forum and also take them seriously. One thing you need to know when it comes to crypto is not to store your Bitcoin in a centralized exchange like Binance because you can wake up one day and find out you do not have access to it. After all, it is not your key and also not your coin, you can store your Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet that gives only you access to your fund because that is why Bitcoin was designed. Also, don't allow anybody to get access to your seed phrase or private key because if any gets hold of it that person can move your Bitcoin to another wallet

Let me also join you by encouraging the newbie to learn more about bitcoin generally and this forum. I suppose the newbie has kinda familiarise themselves with the very basic requirements or knowledge of this forum and it is the reason why he's built the confidence to create threads and engage in some few discussions. It is good but it is not all. As a newbie, I will always suggest you even do more of reading than writing but don't also hesitate to write when such is needed. As a newbie don't be afraid to as questions but before you do, try to also search for threads which must have solved same problems you are facing before creating a topic for it. This isnt a way of discouraging you from posting or creating threads but sometimes the answers you're looking for has gotten a befitting response before on a thread which you don't need to create again. Lastly, read a lot about bitcoin. I will recommend you take a few minutes of your time on a daily basis to go through the learnmeabitcoin.com website to be able to familiarise yourself with the basic and advanced knowledge of bitcoin.

Welcome mate in this forum. First of all you have to read a lot in this forum especially the forum rules and the conversations that are happening in the forum. You have to read a lot because by reading you will be able to gain knowledge and later you will be able to learn a lot and become an active member. This is a cryptocurrency base knowledge sharing platform, so if you want to know something, if you ask properly, our seniors are aware of it and will definitely get the answer.

I noticed that after this post was made, the next post was already on the Programming Services board. That's good for OP even though OP was last active on November 23 and this topic was also created on October 27, 2023.

My question is, with so many spaces where they could share their background knowledge, why did OP choose the Bitcoin forum?
