What causes betrayal, cheats and killing with business partners?

Outside the normal everyday bad news of killing and destruction of properties by some individuals and evil government leaders, reading through many articles I discovered that most killing, betrayal and cheating in business with friends and business partners contribute high in making society uncomfortable for effective business and other officials collaboration. I read through a problem that happens between two friends who grew up together in factory business and break out in mega contracts, extend factory from bottling water to brewery drinks and more but end the life of his friend seeing that the business has become a hug success.

My question is what could be the remote cause of this act of betrayed?

My question is what could be the remote cause of this act of betrayed?

Many things could lead to having others betray us, even though there's no specific reason that should stand being justifiable for doing this act, but I will mention some few flimsy excuses we often give for going into such act.

1. Anything that involves money has the tendencies of betrayal.
2. Some have this kind of natural mentality of betraying others with or without a cause.
3. Forceful or instigated betrayal, when someone was pushed to act against his wish.
