newbie at Strike wallet

I am new to Strike wallet.
Opened a new account, and funded my account via wire transfer. But the fund is still not available to me after couple days.
Anyone having the similar experience? How long the fund would be available ? What could be the reason they could reject or withhold the fund ?

I wanted to see how the wallet is and I downloaded it from Google Playstore. I was unable to go further as I saw signup and login in. I used an email and password but it is now showing 'begin verifying' which means I have to submit my identity documents but I can not do that.

That means it is not more than a custodial wallet or even an exchange that call its owners called it wallet. You should be able to see how you can contact their customer care on the app. Make use of it. Contact their customer care.

I have contacted Strke's customer service. They asked lots of the questions, such as the source of fund, future use of the fund, will I send the coins to other external exchanges, etc.  They seems concerned about DAPP.

Are you sure the problem does not lie from the where you sent it from?

I mean, wire transfers go both ways: the sender and the recipient. If you have checked with the sender first and they say that the transaction has gone through then it would be a bit sketchy for the recipient, in this case the wallet, to not reflect such funds.

How much did you transfer that they are so concerned about it immediately? I only see wallets or exchanges being this alert about a transfer when you transfer a suspiciously huge amount of money into their platform.

I want to try it, but their app is not yet available for my country. Of the several possible reasons, it's likely that you transferred a large amount of money that they asked you to answer some basic questions about AML. That's how if you do it on a central platform that doesn't have high credibility, they also ask whether you will send your coins to another external wallet, it's as if they are lacking liquidity, it shouldn't be possible like that.

If it's like this, it's better to forget and use a tested wallet. This is intended to avoid things we don't want to happen.
If you want a multi-coin wallet, unstoppable wallet can be used. I recommend Electrum and Blue Wallet if you can't afford to buy hardware wallet.

Always remember that don't take risks to the wallet you are using.

The sender bank has confirmed that money has been deducted. It's  couple 100k.

Yeah, it could be because of the kyc/aml checks because amounts like this typically get more attention. If so, your money should be accessible once you completed their kyc checks -- support will tell you about this so keep in touch with them.

Yes, they finally approved the transfer after 5 days. What a relief!
The lessons learned is to restrict the number of wallets you are using, as you don't know which one is on their blacklist.

That's a good news. Is there any KYC info asked? Or just the source of funds and other info just like you said earlier? I just heard about Strike as a wallet for bitcoin probably they work like Paypal as crypto "wallet".

Trust Wallet? That's the worst wallet in my opinion. Trust wallet as far as I know a closed source wallet. Metamask in my opinion web wallet even though I also found them supporting Android and iOS.
