I just received the email from Coinbase Bytes with the title "Unlock Earnings: XRP Staking - Up to 27.7% profit on your investment".
It shows the link https://ripple.com.in/insights/staking-program/
I am not sure if is it legit.
It requires to have the XRP address from the Ledger or Trezor device.
Has anyone tried it?  Thanks.

A look at it and I can say it's a scam. My reasoning on my conclusion are as follows.
1. Exact copy of the homepage of Ripple official site but the domain is different. Most of the links leads to official Ripple site except for a few.
2. The domain is ripple.com.in. Registered a year ago and expiring on this February.
3. There are no mention of the staking on official site and the rate are too good to be true.
4. The links on the site leads to official social media of Ripple which doesn't have any reference to the staking offer.

It's 100% a scam attempt.

I got it.  It is a scam because the website is https://ripple.com.in/.
Thank you for pointing it out.

XRP staking is not possible as the protocol used by Ripple is Ripple Consensus Protocol (RCP) and not Proof-of-Stake (PoS). The website that you have posted is a copy website of Ripple as the correct URL is ripple.com and not ripple.com.in. It is a scam and I hope you have not shared any details of your wallet with the scam website. Another thing you should do is to report the email as scam so that in future you do not receive such emails from the scammer.

I think it is important to be careful when getting emails or messages that promise to make much money from investments. The email from Coinbase Bytes looks tempting because it says you can make up to 27.7% profit by staking XRP. The link which you have mentioned ripple.com.in is not the official Ripple website so that is suspicious. It is always best to go to the official website or contact the official support to make sure an investment opportunity is legit. And be careful if they ask for your XRP address from a Ledger or Trezor device. Scammers often try to get personal information or money through things like that. So be careful never give them anything.

It does look like a scam attempt, and if you are not sure you can look directly at the Coinbase website because of course they will provide information about the program being run and if it is not available on the Coinbase website then it is clearly a fraud attempt, and if the person sending the email is Coinbase then It's a Coinbase program and everything should run on the Coinbase website, not with a link to another website.

not official ripple site.
If it is not the official website, the risk of ripple is very large because it is only a scamer website.
if save staking on the official website, even if there is. if there is no,  yes only on binance investment or safe coin staking.
others are just scamers including those who promote maybe the owner of the website.

india website, creator from india. official ripple from USA

Coinbase bytes? the sound of it is already a scam when it should just be Coinbase and not included with some 'bytes' on it.
And for staking of 27.7%+, usually they're from the unrecognized altcoins but I've seen some of them that are legit but I don't want to take risk with that so, this depends on the platform and with one that you've mentioned. Good that you have verified that it's a scam site, don't forget to always check sound offers before you commit in.

This is quite funny there is a huge possibility that whoever created this website just made this in a website and had a free trial just to use a domain and publish it

The internet is dangerous and a lot of people are smart and capable of fooling the right people make sure to only check in on official websites usually indicated in their official social media accounts as well

If you tried it better wash of your wallet or change keys or whatever protection. If you arent sure about the legality of some announcement try to contact first the official team or ask on their socials. Theres a lot of fake accounts trying to send some spam like this one via email and wanted to phish someone. Plus 27.7 % for a staking thats a huge considering xrp is old already maybe for new projects it can be big but knowing xrp for how long its probably a scam.

I never did stake my XRP tokens. And i think it will be something that I do look back on for it being a mistake. For you to be up 27 percent just from your staking is nice profits.

But my Ethereum is being staked right now. Earning profits from not doing anything does sound like a good decision that I did make.

Looks like a scam to me because they are asking for access to your hardware wallet and why do they really need access for the staking program? And as far as I know, XRP doesn't have non-custodial programs so those claiming to be Team Ripple are impersonators. But if you still want then try staking a small amount with no other crypto in the wallet and let's see if they are paying the guaranteed return.

If you can give us a screenshot of the email from the coin base, you just censor it in a section that you think is sensitive to share publicly like here, who knows if the web domain is copied too, for me that makes it easier from the official twitter maybe coinbase => leads to the website => to the coinbase contact if it is true data. I'm a little skeptical about the coinbase domain, because it's not like usual. sometimes logical offers can be to trick and potentially disappear with our assets that are stored. Also I just heard that xrp has such a program, high risk. Better bet on official ones like TRX, ethreum etc. If you realize something is wrong, it's better to leave and move your assets if it's not already, of course it's not worth the capital you have even though it has been flowering for a few hours. sometimes scammers act like real people who convey like professional marketing for mutual benefit. Its dirty.

Hasn't this scammer mode become a very common thing? If you want to stake, doing it on a trusted exchange might be better. Even though I don't like this myself, I prefer to keep my assets to myself. I know the goal is to make a profit. but we have to become more knowledgeable and not be fooled.
staking, I think has the same risks as leaving our assets on centralized exchanges.
