Meme coins are always thriving in times like that, where almost everything is rising in the shadow of the Bitcoin bull run. This pattern can be observed since the beginning of crypto or, in particular, since the emergence of meme and shitcoins. However, 99% will disappear again in the next bear market at the latest and new ones will enter the stage again in the next bull run.
Play them as long as the music is playing, but get rid of them as soon as the wind changes, otherwise you risk losing everything.

I agree with OP. Solana is hot right now, especially multiple projects that have airdrops + these meme-coins that really give crazy pumps.

To be honest, I thought Solana was already done a few years ago, but look at it now, the chain is active back again. And if you take a look at the TVL of the Solana network, it is not the Top 4 highest, surpassed the Arbitrum network already.

the narrative of meme coin shifting to base though i don't know how these meme coin trend could be shifting blockchain and all the meme coin degen and fans just know that they should look for new meme coin somewhere else that is base, kinda awesome if you think about it.
moreover when meme coin in base is gaining market cap rise, its just as massive as in solana its as if all the whales that are investing in meme coin are now investing over to base.
I mean even before the meme coin was really a thing in base, when most of meme coin still getting deployed in solana, base are already having some good time with all the NFT minting probably due to the fee that is astonishingly low if compared to other chain, I guess thats why.

Upon further investigation, I discovered they've been listed on major exchanges like Bitget, indicating continued growth and potential value appreciation, despite being tokens with no real use case.

Being listed in a major exchange is not really a sign of potential. But it being in the solana ecosystem is. Solana is doing really well these days and everyone can not stop talking about it. Any project it releases has a lot of potential and many supporters right off the bat.

Solana has other coins that have utility so yes I think solana would continue to thrive in the memecoin space. They just need to be careful and try to not mess it up lest they mess up even solana itself.
