another shitcoin another scam.... or? BURRRD

Hey, I found a small funny thing yesterday this token on the Solana blockchain BURRRD so I checked up their website. https://www.burrrd.club/ at least they are honest about what it is or? 

"Disclaimer BURRRD is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap. The coin is completely useless and for entertainment purposes only.


I have no connection to the coin or the team behind it in anyway if that's needed to say.

There are many of similar meme coins I've encountered. There was/is a coin that advertised "The team of this coin has had their last project grow upto x156 times.
That just means they are capable of pumping this coin to a large number and then dump it to create a new coin like they did previously. Though they don't provide any info of their last project and we just need to trust their app.
Funnily enough I invested $50 on them and got $150 profit in a matter of days. I didn't wait for the x100. The project got listed on CMC and is now trading above to what I sold for.

One needs to be careful when investing in altcoin. Sometimes coin you don't expect can do more than one expectation. That is why I always advice people to only invest what you can avoid to lose on altcoin.

That's a good advice you giving and it should be a obvious rule for us all when risking money as every investment is.

No serious person or investor will see this type of website and will be on his right state of mind and will want to invest all he has in that coin but I am not surprised, we glory rubbish things in crypto now over good projects.
Gone are those days we value things like:
-speed
-Interoperability
-Decentralization
-Security

But it seems we love to see only one thing which is profits, like 1x, 2x and even 100x and after investing and selling to get profits, we abandoned it and go to the next one to do the same thing, if not that regulations is completely centralization of this space, I wouldn't mind to see this shitcoins regulated and deleted immediately but people that are looking for fast profits will not come back and isn't that what we don't want to see? 

Back to Solana chain, this is just another dump and pump coin that will be airdrop to Solana holders. Since the beginning of this month, we have had many of them and that's why Solana hs been running because of people that want to be eligible for the airdrop but look zoom it out, these are nothing but a trap that will soon fade out.

Honestly,  they are very honest to let people what they are up to , if other projects can be sincere like this very one I think the rate which people lose their money on projects like this will reduce,  with what they stated, I think it is left  for investors to go for it or not.. but a reasonable investor won't choose to go for a project like this when their are clear evidence of it being a failed project in the future. It is important for people to make research in where they are investing their money.

Yeah, I so much like the honesty they are showing there. We can only wish others can be like that, but I guess that can only happen in our dreams. We all know what common people do. They are greedy mostly for money and they can do almost anything even if it's not ethical only to earn some or most of it.

With the honesty that this project is showing here, maybe that still can impress some people? And they will support it. That is also if those people don't care about the profit. To answer the OP's question, I think this is not something that we call a scam because they don't promise anything. It is simply a meme coin as it says but some people can also name a meme coin a shitcoin.

There are thousands of coins and tokens like this one that is created in the hope that they might get some hype from the meme coin community and if that happens, the creator(s) will get some money from the investments people will make in the token and the creators know that people do it because meme coins are known to provide great profits to their early investors because if you buy a token at an early state, if it manages to gain substantial value, you will become a millionaire, potentially.

However, it's a lot of risk, you can't just find a token or coin over the internet and start investing in it. Even if you see people praising a token over social media, you shouldn't believe what they say and invest your hard-earned money in it by becoming greedy and thinking that you might become rich because of it.
