Most straightforward way to swap XMR for Bitcoin

Hi, I have some XMR in Cake Wallet and want to convert it to Bitcoin and put it into Coinbase. What is the most straightforward way to do this? Am in UK which means not that many wallets seem to handle XMR.

You can do atomic swaps if you don't like the idea of centralized exchanges and KYC

There are also a number of instant exchanges, though there is a risk of having your exchange transactions blocked and KYC getting requested from you at any time.

If you have a good computer and you are ready to download an app, you can go for a decentralized exchange like Bisq.network.

You can also go for instant exchange like https://exch.cx/. Do not go for the common ones that can force you to KYC. On https://exch.cx/, you can even use Tor.

Yeah, why would you use your own non-custodial wallets, when you can just send them to some third party exchange to take care about them, until they get hacked....

Hi man. I think unstoppable swap is excellent, but I believe it works only the opposite way. I mean you can only swap from BTC to XMR and not the opposite. Are you sure you can buy BTC using XMR?

Unfortunately, we cannot. Not yet, at least.

You are right, there are only BTC to XMR swaps available right now, and I think there are no available providers even for this direction at the moment.
That is why I posted several alternative options to choose, and there are few other wallets with swap feature like Stack wallet.

I saw earlier that some of them do not have the most favourable exchange rate, but it should definitely be taken into account
