Yes this really happened after losing bet, some gets so much depressed that they don’t think straight anymore and happens to be challenged to us and miss understanding to everything because they don’t get happy after the gambling because of the experience, this what I feel that I can contribute on this.

This is why we need friends around to help us forget we even lost a bet. If you have the right friends around while gambling, you can never get depressed over your loss as there will be lots of jokes and laughter to help you forget your sad moment.  Any gambler who constantly gets depressed after every loss (whether in the midst of friends or not) should consider taking a break from gambling as this is not healthy for him or her. Gamblers should understand that losses are also bound to occur in gambling, so mourning so much for the losses will not bring the money lost back. It is better they gamble with very small amounts or avoid gambling totally to protect their mental health.

Some other gamblers after losing betting money they become depressed. Most of the time I have gambled alone and some times gambled with friends. There are some positive and negative aspects of gambling in these two situations. I feel a bit relaxed there when I participate in the same bet with my friends. Because even if I lose there, I get consolation seeing from others.

I had an experience about a similar case and, to be honest, it didn't end well. What I have learned from these two situations is that no matter what happens after you made a bet, you are the only one responsible for the results of that bet, losing or winning you are the only person who would enjoy or feel bad about it. When you make the same bet as your friend, you are only gaining more confidence about the outcome, but it is different when the results comes out and only your money is involved there, beside that, both of you are not going to effect that bet, in a sport bet or even in a live casino, roulette, Blackjack or Poker.
Personally, I prefer gambling alone most of the time, so I don’t really get influenced by that friend who might have more money or he is risking more than me, so in that case, there are more chances for you to bet more money or even choose another side which is going to make you lose rather than gain, that time where you are going to feel more bad that you didn’t trust your decision and didn’t enjoy.

The whole point of gambling is to enjoy, which means, risking your own money based on other people’s decisions and perspectives will reduce the your entertainment towards gambling.

It's hard to forget that, you replied to my message in June, and since I made my post in April, we haven't seen each other again until now due to work & long distance. BTW, when you meet and gamble together, what kind of gambling do you usually play? What you're feeling is a familial bond, the pain of losing doesn't really make you feel that bad because you know that your friends are there and you'd be doing fine because there's some feeling of comfort with them plus the losses is trumped easily with fun, that's why it's more fun to gamble in a casino when you're with friends, the shenanigans that you're going to involve yourselves is limitless but the fun is definitely there plus the memories, even if you lose big time there, the memories of those times would be more about your time with your friends and not the money that you've lost.
