A White Man Wrote this very sad advice to our President in a Professional Job Site that I belong to and I responded to his post.
Nigerians have being giving me so many accolades on my Response: (This is how these people have being misleading our extremely gullible Leaders that gives so much respect their skin colors since the time of slave trade till date)

Below is what the White Man Wrote:

The horse has already bolted; I've spoken to many local, talented, Nigerians who have recently left for jobs mainly in US, Canada and the UK. They are doing this because of Nigeria’s current economic climate which I have already touched on. In my opinion the Nigerian Govt’s new levy will only worsen the current situation because local talent is leaving. Therefore, this proposal will make it even more difficult for companies to find top talent, even assuming they are in willing to pay a hefty fine for expats.

Nigeria imposes annual levy on expatriate workers
Nigeria has imposed a mandatory annual levy for organizations employing expatriate workers, requiring them to pay $15,000 (£12,000) for a director and $10,000 for other employees. The move is meant to encourage foreign companies to employ more Nigerian workers.

Below is my Response:

Dear Andrew, you are completely wrong in your analysis and understanding. Nigeria have enough talents and experts to work in-country... The talents leaving are just a 0.01% compare to the bulk of unemployed talents we have.

I have worked in a Company in Nigeria were a semi-illiterate was brought from a Country outside Nigeria to head the Asphalt Plant department in a Construction Company and this so called expatriate was thought by a Nigerian operator who didn't know that he was teaching his replacement. This so called expatriate was paid in dollars to his Country account while Nigerians doing same Job were/are paid peanuts as Salary.

Nigerians pays millions of dollars/pounds just to travel to US, Europe and other Countries to do low ranking Jobs.

You need to be more honest in whatever you write.

End!

So how una see my response?

So now make we clap for you abi wetin. Before we start to shout racism, remember say Dangote refinery employed more Indians than Nigerians. Your rant on linkedin is not going to change government policies, I’ve never seen Nigerian policy makers made decisions from opinions shared on social media. The man shared his honest opinion and you did the same. I don’t believe it is about race, companies will do what they think is in their best interest and governments do what they believe is in the best interest of the nation. Company way nor want employ we people go pay the fine.

People always directly attack people here just to discredit and make people feel inferior just because you have earn merits to make you a lord here doesn't translate to being arrogant in your comments on people's post.... Do your even know how much time and data people put into making a post?

Insults are not allowed here as I learnt even though members remarks are always indirect insults on other members... If insults are allowed here, both of us for tire for ourselves then learn our lessons at the end.

It’s quite surprising to me whenever people talk about expatriates and the way they are treated, especially in companies. I don’t quite understand the perspective they’re coming from, but I’ve seen videos every day on social media and heard stories of how they’ve been maltreated by foreigners working for companies in the country. There are numerous complaints and incidents of project managers or supervisors mistreating laborers, with the unfortunate trend being that the project managers are often foreigners, while the laborers are citizens of the country.

I don’t support any of these actions. It’s wrong for anyone, whether inside or outside the country, to bully workers simply because of their race. The company neglecting such behavior in the name of retaining foreign workers because they supposedly provide better results is unacceptable.

To company owners, I believe this is the wrong approach. Maintaining equality in the treatment of all workers, especially in companies with diverse workforces, should be a priority. For instance, in my company, it would be a standing order that nobody is allowed to mistreat others based on differences in nationality or language.

However, it’s important for people to understand that private companies operate differently from public ones. The main difference lies in how they are governed and managed. Public entities are overseen by the government, while private institutions often prioritize merit and results based on the experiences gained abroad. That’s why you might find foreigners in top management positions in some companies—they bring expertise and insights from their own countries to enhance project outcomes.

Unfortunately, many of our people tend to react negatively without giving employers the opportunity to provide context or express themselves. Instead, they rush to judge based on social media posts.

You've done well mate, but no matter the defense we try to play out there, Nigeria is what it is. So I really don't see the need. I'm already tried of the countries condition at this rate. We hope that theres a fix in the country before our next generation comes in if not. They will still have to suffer what we are passing through right now which we won't want for them.
You see how the corruption has taken over the whole country. Imagine bringing an illiterate to work as a head in a country where we have first class graduates who have no jobs and wondering around the streets, begging or doing daily pay jobs just to survive. It's quiet unfair to be truthful and even annoying. I don't even know who to blame anymore. The truth right now, is to focus on providing for yourself and family just leave the country it's already fallen into the wrong path. Least we can do is watch and pray.

My brother your response good. It is good to see how some Nigerians dey still try to defend our country but I sabi say the defending don still tire some people to dey do because of how the country don take be. Kudos for your analogy on the expatriate and Nigerian story and also as you take let the guy know say guys still dey wey be professionals and experts here but men... Naija government no dey like go right, dem dey do left left things and embezzle money den things go just dey as e be.

For the expatriate wey dey less qualified compared to our Nigerian brother, my brother we no know whether na part of the companies scope say dem go always get oyibo person for the company, and some company dey like follow wetin their competitors for the business dey do. Maybe dem get counterpart wey dey still use expatriate for their company.

So that aspect wey dem carry out naija brother take dey teach who go replace him, that fit still be dat search for cheap labour. E fit be say dem no go fit pay the expert expatriate for that area wey make dem step down to pick someone with little experience to be coached by person he has come to replace.

Quite unfortunate anyway but the bulk of the blame go to the government for not putting plans to grow the economy and stop neocolonialism.
