It is no news that Donald Trump has been faced with numerous cases and charges ever since his re-election ambition in 2020, ranging from charges of sexual assaults to felony charges but yet he remained focused and undistracted till now that he has achieved his re-election ambition which renders all charges against him pending and postponed till after his reign as the US president for the second time. With the resilience of Donald Trump's pursuit for a re-election despite being in the middle of those numerous charges leveled against him shows bravery and a country like America really deserves people who are dogged in the face of adversity and i'm of the view that he is most likely to make America great again just as he preached during his election campaigns. Most, if not all, of these "challenges" as you call them are his own doing. His legal issues didn't just magically appear, they come from choices and actions he made over the years, not some random bad luck.  Given his past the controversy swirling around him feels kind of expected.

I do not dispute that he is not the architect of his wrong doings that led to the controversy he found himself and am not even saying that anyone who is found guilty of a crime should not be prosecuted, all am saying is just about his relentless efforts in the face of those adversity even though it may be his fault. And i would say that he didn't ignore any consequences, perhaps he won't remain in the white house forever.

I assume that even if it was you, you will prioritize your own interest over anything. For the fact that one is facing trials as a result of the charges leveled against him doesn't mean he should be distracted from pursuing other life's goals even if it is on a personal interest, there will still be those that would benefit from your input.

Donald Trump is a fighter that doesn't give up even in the face of defeat. I am not his fan but I see him as a role model for those who want to be dogged. OP you didn't add the two assassination attempts on him to the challenges he had to overcome.

Everyone needs to face the consequences of their action and inactions. However, I think using someone's past to discredit the person especially if such individual has changed is not ideal. Nobody is perfect, some persons are fortunate to hide their past sins from the public while others are not. We all make mistakes in the past maybe out of ignorance or mistakes. Sometimes I wonder what will happen to most of us if we contest an election because we have made some mistakes when we were younger out of youthful exuberance.

They are literally paid out of the pockets of ordinary people and they chose that path themselves. They have to accept the scrutiny that comes with it. Part of the job.

Actually, I don't think there is much of merit with comes to the case of Trump and what the legal and literal bullets he has managed to dodge during his political career. It would have merit had he been part of the regular population of the United States and had he received the normal treatment each one of us would have received in the case of being accused to unlawfully keeping top secret documents, or inciting a mob against a federal building in the capital of the nation.
There are people who used to work for the CIA and FBI who held documents in their homes in an unlawful way and they got prosecuted and thrown in prison rather quickly. Trump got an special treatment because he was a candidate.

No merit of getting special treatment from a justice system which is supposed to judge all citizens equally.

We all are to bear the consequences of our bad behaviors actually and our past may not depict our present, however, it is difficult to forget someone's past completely especially if it has to do with stepping on others toes, believing you will go scot free due to your portfolio or prestige.

Sure, the activities of Politicians and public figures are mostly dubious in nature, because since they are controlling funds generated by the public, they tend to embezzle to their private pockets and for their personal and selfish interest but i doubt such activity in the case of Donald Trump, let us not forget that he was real estate investor and a business tycoon before he developed interests in politics. Donald Trump is a successful businessman and he considers everything from a business perspective and despite his old age, he is a very determined and confident person. Despite many adversities, he has remained steadfast in his goals and has been assassinated several times. He has countless cases against him, some of which are committed by women, which have tarnished his reputation as a person. The result of the trust the American people have in him is that he was re-elected and he is determined to take a strong stance on immigrants. He is capable of repaying the people's trust and can succeed after taking office if he fulfills his election promises properly.

It would not be fair for him to influence the decision of the court to postpone the cases. Being the president of a country, he can try to influence in various areas. Hey, he isn't influencing any decision of the judiciary. It is just a common case of immunity as the president of the United States of America. When his tenor elapses and he leaves office, those charges still awaits him including fresh charges that may be issued against him upon leaving office. So, chill, everything is under control.
