From the archived we can see they offering free ETH, means it's scam and that user promoting this on the forum.

Tagged that user and you should avoid this scam.

I was also among those who rendered my suggestion on the said thread; the user in question might be promoting a scam site, which seems to have been taken down indirectly without knowing they are promoting it, or it could also be a voluntary and known fraud action which he uses that means to promote the scam.

We have seen in this forum where genuine newbies come here from time to time to complain about being scammed by such websites, which was the direction I was looking at in the OP, though I could still be wrong.

The website doesn't open for me either, so I guess it's already been taken down, which is great news.
I think most forum members are familiar with this tactic  where a newbie tries to promote a scam website or service by starting a new topic and pretending to ask about its legitimacy.
Everyone must understand that no one will give you money for free.

Good job, bro! But I’m pretty sure a lot of newbies will still keep creating accounts just to promote these kinds of scams.

That’s why we need more active members who can report them right away as that’s the only real way to minimize the scams.
Honestly, I haven’t seen that one myself, but with a name like “get-eth.com”? hmmm, it already sounds shady.

I have already reported his thread, and it will likely be nuked soon by the mods because it goes against the forum rules.

This scammer is pretending to ask an innocent question, but he wants beginners to try it so they fall into the trap. These are their tactics. That's why I tagged his account, and it was even tagged before because he asked for a Non-Collateral loan.
