Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin

     In my opinion, it's better to invest in Bitcoin because you understand the concept it has, the usages here, and the potential it can provide in the future.
The others are just riding the trend, and their acquaintances are saying, in short, they are just hyped because of the story told to them.

That's why some people always say to always do your own research. Let's not forget this thing that everyone is told.

I do not see anything wrong when someone checks the news first before investing. This is only called as fundamental analysis. What is only wrong is when they invest because they see a shilled post in the social media. However if it is only about bitcoin, I think it is not totally wrong as well. Because, even if you buy at the top but as long as you continue holding, the dips will just past and you will see a new light again.

Yeah, they're being shilled to buy the best crypto asset ever and I don't also think that's a problem. But everyone has to practice doing some research before buying.

Not just because someone told them to, they should buy it asap. No, it doesn't have to be like that because all they have to do is to make themselves comfortable before buying it.

Well, if someone is interested in investing in bitcoin, it would be better if he finds out information about bitcoin in depth. That would be better because he would know how bitcoin works and brings profit to him. I feel that such investors are wise investors. In addition, people who sometimes buy bitcoin just because of the hype or following other people are investors who will only come once in a while, who may be more easily disappointed if things don't move the way they want.

My father always told me to follow the trend of events to avoid missing out on viable opportunities. There is nothing wrong with investing in Bitcoin because it is now a popular investment among friends or on the internet. An example is that many people are buying Bitcoin because they heard that the halving will lead to an astronomical increase in the price of the coin. I have seen many people ask questions on the forum why the price has not increased yet. Many of them might become nervous and impatient because of the recent slide in price and might be forced to sell their coins at a loss. But a little study of how the Bitcoin market works would have enlightened them that we are heading for a bigger bull run.

It seems that your father and I are thinking alike when it comes to investing on things that's currently trending, probably for the best that that's how you do things but remember that hype can happen and you don't want to be buying when there's a possibility that the price will go down, probably the best play in all of this is that you still need to be smart about the trends that you're picking because you'll never know when will the trend would end or if you're invested when the hype is at the point of dying down. That nervousness that you're feeling, that's a test on what's to come and if you deserve the profit of long-term investment because if you falter and panic sell at the sight of prices going down, you don't deserve anything besides losses.
