Overcoming bad habits is not just from the mindset is also by your actions, it can be tough to overcome bad habits but here are some ways i know that can make it easy for you to overcome bad habits.
  firstly you can seek help from a therapist or someone who can help you with some good advice, also you can try to reward yourself in progress to overcome this habits, you can also participate in other activities just to keep yourself busy, and the last one is learn to surround yourself with people to keep yourself distracted. if you knw many other ways you can contribute to this let's discuss about that. Thank you

once you have got the mindset actions will come later on it has always to be mind over body for you to overcome these bad habits you speak of

It's a daily struggle to stay focused on whatever you are doing in the moment, and be most productive towards your goals.

Whenever you find yourself "Getting bored" and "filling the time" with unproductive things unrelated to your goals or purpose, then you have to force yourself to do the right thing.

It's easy to neglect our responsibilities and "Get comfortable" but you have to get used to being uncomfortable and always pushing to do better.

Totally agree! Making small changes step by step is more effective than trying to quit everything at once. It gives you time to reflect and adjust along the way. Plus, slow progress tends to stick longer than sudden changes.

Well if we know we have a bad habit we must think of ways to stop doing it. For me I did used to smoke some cigarettes when I was trying to enjoy my night out. I did leave them in my closet at home when I would go out so I can not have them with me.

And now I know it is very bad for us to do that. So I did all I could do to make myself stop it. It is called a bad habit for a reason then.

I won't go to these therapists just because I have bad habits. I deal it with my own and if I have to change myself is what I have to do then, I'll make sure that I'd do it.

I don't need to pay anyone just to help me with my bad habits. I'll make my own reminder on how I will remove these bad habits.

I've done that in the past and I am happy that I was able to overcome those bad habits. It's not easy but I can do it.

Bad habits are self accepted characters. Same as men are born but heros are made. Heros can be made through devotion, commitment, perseverance, hard work and so on. That's also how characters are developed. Once you willing to change any character you must be willing to sacrifice your happiness because your character is something that make you happy. So in other to change you must work tirelessly towards the new you, you want to become.
