So I disagree with you that Xavi was relieved of his duty as Barcelona's head coach because he was incompetent. Even with all the challenges, xavi in my contest did so well and is deserving of an accolade because all that he has ever done was to get the team to getting the best they can even with the available team he's got because he was unable to get more players who could help him get the desired results he wishes to get as the team wasn't in in their financial strength to get that done as they should. Xavi wasn't incompetent rather Barcelona was incapacitated to financially strengthen the team well enough and this cannot be blamed on xavi as almost every coach would have done almost same thing bas he did.

I have another opinion, clearly for the 2023-24 season the coach has a big hand in what happens to Barcelona and so do the players. yeah, regardless of the team's unhealthy financial condition. a coach, knows the situation and conditions of a team he handles. The question is, how can the coach, with all the club's current limitations, try as hard as possible to keep the team playing competitively. Regarding Xavi Hernandez, as a Barcelona fan I liked Xavi, especially when he was still a player. However, this season, apart from the tactics and strategy which are not working well, Barcelona has been hit by a storm of injuries to several of its core players. plus, the decline in the performance of Barcelona's defense line. There were several factors that caused Barcelona to be inconsistent last season, especially the decline in the quality of play both in the front line and defense sectors. Plus, several midfielders who were mainstays were injured. This condition worsened Xavi's performance in building a more competitive squad, especially in the competition for trophies.

But that doesn't mean the problem lies with Xavi. As a Barcelona fan, there are several Xavi policies that I criticize when implementing his players and rotating them. That Barcelona team really needs some serious hardwork and for now they are no way going to be in the standards of real Madrid because Real Madrid gotten everything covered from talents to skills and all are of the right age @ young and vibrant. Yes, at least this is good news for Barcelona. This is one of the long injuries to a Barcelona player. Gavi got injury since November and now he is getting more recovered. But for now there are some oblique rumors about several players including for Gavi and Pedri who are rumored to be players on the sales list for Barcelona this season. Although this news is still confusing, but there are already several major media reporting this so we also cannot know how the clarity about Gavi's future will be.

This season has not been very good for Gavi because he had to give up hopes of being in the Olympics and Euros of course because of the healing he had to do and if you look at the beginning of his ACL at least it is possible a few weeks after the season rolls around he will be fully declared healed even though he will definitely have to re-adapt because it's been a long time since he grazed and played soccer.

It's definitely a complicated situation actually although Gavi is a very good young player but indeed after the ACL there will definitely be some changes that occur and he could lose his momentum and this is what needs to be worried about.

Gavi will recover soon. He is expected to return in June, 30.
I think there is no something worrying about him because it looks fine. He also has a long contract (until 2026) with Barcelona. So Flick mustn't be afraid about him because he will stay in Barcelona for the next season.

There are also other injured players who must get attention, they are Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong. Lewandowski will return from the injury in June, 20. Meanwhile Frenkie de Jong got a worse injury, his return isn't unknown. It is bad for Barcelona if they will have an important match in the near future because Frenkie de Jong has a big role in the midfield line of Barcelona.

Do you know if Laporta has spoken about Barcelona's plans for the summer transfer season? Laporta has even revealed a request from Barcelona midfielder Oriol Romeu to leave the squad. On The 'Barca Reservat, Laporta stated that Barcelona will be overhauling its roster under hansi flick.
It will be completed during the summer transfer season. Oriol Romeu has submitted a personal request to the Laporta to sell him. AFAIK, Oriol Romeu has not been involved in new project of hansi flick and barcelona.

The club's primary focus from hansi flick will be on developing young skilled players. I was thinking it would be more beneficial for oriol romeu to stay in Girona rather than rejoin in Barcelona.
It's really interesting to see what plan Barcelona has in place to solve its financial problems and restructure the club. Meanwhile, La Liga has not yet lifted the embargo on Barcelona signing new players.
