Wow what a whooping amount of money!!
How would you feel if u were this man to had lost his account for so long? You know your pass pharse is very important to uphold this man would have lost this huge amount of money for losing his password.

If not for the help of this hackers all investment in his Bitcoin wallet would have gone. To be sincere if it was me I would be scared to even seek the help of these hackers because at anytime they can break into one's account but do u think an account with that huge amount exposed to the knowledge of hackers is still safe.

What account are you talking about? A wallet is different from an exchange or any other platform in that the user needs to create an account before they can be given an address for funding. The right question to ask is if the wallet is safe.

If the wallet has been hacked open, which is based on the owner and the hackers agreement, even without thinking about it twice, the owner of the wallet, after settling with the hacker based on their agreement, will move the coins into another wallet. If he is not ready to sell it off for the main time, this time around the new wallet he will use will be more secured, and he will be more careful on how he keeps both the phrase and the password.

Nwada001,  as spoken well about your question but I will like to bring to our notice that not everyone offering these services are really legit, many have scammed by such services and that's why people are usually Sceptical about such services here and aside this fact the chances of the wallet being recovered is slim and we could see base on the hacker response after he recovered it successfully on the article.

It's should be noted that being paranoid about your hacked being is not entirely bad but the steps you take after that matters, I will say no matter what a strong password is something containing letters, symbols and alphabets which also you can remember or else it's nothing if you can't remember it because your funds will be gone for possibly for ever.

Another thing is that's advisable to write your password/passphrase in a secure place especially when you know you're bad at remembering things, this should be saved securely just like you securely saved your seeds phrase/ private key

there is nothing more logical than this. Regardless of the security measures you end up putting into protecting your coin that's still in the wallet that's accessible by the hackers, it's 💯 not safe at that moment.

I know the issue some people do have while working with these tech guys that have the ability to help recover your account is that some of them will promise to keep an eye on your device and give you necessary security information to help protect your funds from external hacker but at the end of the day, if your funds get stolen in the long run, they are mostly the once that end up carrying out the act. There is nothing like an ethical hacker who will be professional to the extent of seeing a good chunk of coin in your wallet and leave it like that when they have the means of stealing it.

To even be on a safer spot, it's even best not to move the funds directly to a new wallet so as to reduce any form of trace. It's better to sell the coin, and then if it's okay with you, you can then use a totally different wallet that has no relationship with your previous wallet to store your coin and ensure that your seed phrase is kept as safe as possible. Most hackers are dubious and while doing anything with them, you need to also see them as a potential threat even when they are coming to help you.

The last time I heard about something of such happening was when someone here on this forum also needed help with recovering their seed phrase and it was as if he already learnt of a possible company which specialized In the recovery of lost seed phrases on the blockchain. Many thought it was actually not doable as the blockchain is so secret that if one losses their seed phrase to their wallet, their coins is gone.

Am glad I can actually read of such happening and although I am scared of the doings of hackers, it is such need that arises that they are good for. I hope they don't create a backdoor to the man's account and hack into it after they have rendered such help.

If it happen to be decentralized wallet, d account will no longer be safe again for use because all those hackers have d details about d wallet which dey can have access to d wallet at anytime.

I no sure say d person go live such huge amount of money on that account, because all those hackers no d details about d account which will be d reason d person go empty d accounts for security reason.

I don't no why some people will not write down their seed phrase to where dey can see them in case something bad happen, which is what happened to this person that lost his detail over in 11 years because d person forgot his seed phrase, but assuming he has d seed phrase written down, it would have be easy for he to withdraw d money without d help of hackers.

I don't know if I will call it carelessness or accident cause I don't still know what on Earth will make someone forget his pass keys knowing fully well the amount of money or assets that is in there. I think if anything happens to the money tomorrow or later he is responsible for it cause he called people most person are hiding from for help. This is just like asking a thief to come help you store your products in your Warehouse this means that you have created an awareness and the best thing to do is either you withdraw the money or get ready for anything that will come. In summary the money is no longer safe cause an awareness has been created.

What do we have here, another fairy tale story and click bait of the scammers. I didn’t read the full story I the link you posted because even the website it is been posted on is not safe to believe in their information, it is red flagged from my browser. Just be aware that scammers can go to any length to make this testimonial stories so enticing and captivating in order to get more customers they can scam off  their money in the wallet on the disguise of helping them to get their lost money back.

Even though this initial story is true and they were able to retrieve his password to get access to the account, getting another person to help do that will be their first victim. I just don’t fathom how this is even reasonable. Scammers are very cunning and believing in this story is what I still find difficult because of how cruel the crypto world is now. It is better not to even contact them than doing and getting scammed one hand.

Oh damn, that was dupe! From $3K to $3M worth of Bitcoin after 11 years of asset owner loosing his passkeys. That is worth a treasury testimony. Lol.

Well, to make this clear so that it does not attract any illegal insightment, Mr Grand who help the crypto owner to recover access to his lost Crypto wallet is actually operating on his software programs legally not as the OP might have placed the statement it to reflect the hacker in form of scammer.

Grand actually used an authorized licensed tool to do his troubleshooting in order to generate the keys used to succesdfully cracked the Wallet. Indeed all efforts and hope was not gone for the anonymous $3M Bitcoin owner.

The man that lost his seed phrase to access his bitcoin wallet should go home and thank his stars, because $3 million dollars is a lot of money. There is no need to be afraid to seek the help of an expert to help you unlock the wallet, because left alone with you, you cannot do it on your on. however I believe he will be moving the coins out of that wallet because it has been breached and unsafe for storage, and also both the hackers and the owner of the wallet will surely go into agreement on percentage sharing if the wallet is successful accessed. The story is just fascinating, because I've heard stories of people being unable recover their coins, for similar situations.

On a serious note, I will feel bad because I lost something that's more important to me and in the society, many people today are working tirelessly to accumulate Bitcoin now because they knows it important and it will be high in future.
Seed phrase is what many investors keep very safe because they k ows the important of keeping their seed phrase secured, seed phrase is the passkey that will enable us to retrieve or wallet anytime we want to and if we misplace it we can't have access to the wallet again.
I didn't open the link but I know that dude lost access to his wallet and a hacker helped him to retrieve his lost wallet that he didn't have access to years ago. However the hacker is not a scammer but for safety purposes, the owner of the wallet should remove all the Bitcoin in the old wallet and send to a new one, then he should keep the new seed phrase from the new wallet safe.
Anyway wallet that is compromised is no longer safe because anything can happen and a bitcoiner shouldn't trust anyone with his Bitcoin, and it's not got now purpose, today one might see your asset and not feel concern because the figures is not big enough, but in future the person will be tempted to access your wallet on your absence.

In the crypto world your first lesson should be to trust no one with your password which can be your seed phrase in thsi context, yeah there are honest hackers that are doing the job but can you trust anyone with money, but at same time the situation here is quite dire since he has lost his seed phrase and the money is good as gone, maybe we can relate why he took the risk.
