Hello. Does anyone know if there are options/steps that a US-based customer could take to trade across networks say
BTCB (BEP-20) or Tether (BEP-20) on the Binance Smart Chain network (BSC) to BTC (on BTC network), ETH (on ETH network), or USD FIAT?

I have been unable to find a DEX to do this either directly or indirectly
through a few steps of swapping different currencies/networks to get to one of above stated currencies/networks  Huh

I have tried doing this on OKX wallet, PanCakeSwap and Trust Wallet to no avail  Huh
I am able to trade for Tether (BSC) but from there don’t know what platform and steps to trade for BTC/BTC or USD FIAT.

Would someone please be so kind to tell me a DEX platform and the steps that can be done to do this?

OTHER OPTION:
If not,I think what might be another possibility is a VPN and then to use a trustworthy CEX with no KYC.
Anyone able to vouch for a what CEX could be done with this approach and the steps to follow?

THANK YOU so much in advance for your time and help, I am stressed and will be heartbroken if  Cry
I am unable to exchange my currencies with the option of cashing out for USD FIAT if needed

BACKGROUND:
Binance.us shutting down in my state, withdrawal of BTC did not work for me so I was forced to withdraw as BTC BEP-20 (BTCB)
I have BEP-20 BTCB and BNB in Coinbase and was able to transfer some out into Pancakeswap which I could switch to Tether BEP-20.

I researched the top 20 CEX platforms by market cap and NONE would allow me as a US customer to either set-up an account and/or trade BTCB/BSC for BTC/BTC or ETH or FIAT  Embarrassed

Where is your coins currently, if it is still in Binance, and you want your funds to be in bitcoin, you should convert it to bitcoin and click deposit crypto, which should be bitcoin, click on chain network, after that put the your bitcoin wallet address which should be a noncustodial wallet like Electrum wallet or Bluewallet. Then send the funds and make sure you are using the right network.

If your funds is already in USDT and you want it in fiat straight into your account, you should use p2p method to trade. P2P traders from your country will buy your USDT and send you the funds into your bank account that you will provide. I hope this helps.

You know the US government sued Binance, Kraken, MEXC and more centralized exchanges. It's unrealistic to think that top centralized exchanges and their founders are ready to take risky by provide you non-KYC services.

You can use their services after completing KYC.

If you don't want KYC, choose non KYC exchanges.

If am not mistaken your holdings are now in tether in the binance smart chain
What you need since most reputable CEX either don't accept US or support BSC
Is a DEX that allows Cross chain swapping i.e switching from one network to another
Thorchain could help and it doesn't require the coin to be swapped to 'wrapped'.
Exch is also a vital option.
Would recommend bisq if you have 0.01BTC to lock .

Hopefully this might help.

Note: steps are quite similar to Pancakeswap, make sure you have bnb for fee and crosscheck the address.

Pancakeswap didn't work because it only supports Binance chain just like Uniswap to ETH.

Why not like this.
1. Send to Pancakeswap, trade BTCB for BNB.
2. Send the BNB to exchange that you interested for BTC.
3. Then send the BTC to Bisq, Robosats etc for USD.

Most swap exchanges not accept BSC based tokens, that's why I think better to convert it to BNB first.

But, there's a straightforward solution, trade BTCB for fiat if someone interested with your offer on Currency Exchange board.

OP, why are you spamming the forum with repetition of same thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5509142.msg64526233#msg64526233.

I thought that you have been given some good replies to this same question in the other thread, you can post on the previous thread if you have more questions on this issue. It seems you are a spammer because all your four post are the same thing and this is against the forum rules. Be careful so that you don't get banned. I would advise you to lock this thread.

I am pretty sure a number of exchangers on Bestchange monitor have very strong AML or KYC procedures and do not allow US residents to use their platforms. Perhaps OP can use one of the no KYC instant exchanges to swap BNB BSC to BTC such as Godex.io

And then cash out from Bisq, robotsats or even localcoinswap.io using the BTC.

That token on BSC network is fake bitcoin, that is why it's not easy to find many exchanges to trade it, and I wouldn't hold any of their tokens.

What I would suggest is using something like orangefren.com to find what exchanges support trade with amount and coins you want.
You can also swap that token to USDT and than it's easier to convert it to real Bitcoin.

Thank you so much everyone for your ideas to this humble noob  Smiley

I compiled a list of potential things to try in rough order to try based on this thread:

1. https://changenow.io/?from=btcb&to=btc
2. Cross chain swapping DEX: Thorchain or Exch
3.  "Bridge": Binance bridge or multichain (anyswap)
4. No-KYC instant exchanges - Godex.io
Find no KYC exchanges on here:
https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange
5. Find exchanges that support trade/coins and amount you want:  orangefren.com
6. Swap for Tether or BNB  (both on BSC)  then change for BTC
7. https://app.debridge.finance/?inputChain=1&outputChain=10&inputCurrency=&outputCurrency=&dlnMode=simple
8.  Bridge to another network erc20 using debridge finance and trade on eth network

I am hoping one of the above can free me from the BSC/BEP-20.

To answer some questions:
I have BTCB and BNB (both BSC) on Trust Wallet/OKX.  I have not traded for Tether (BSC) - at least not yet.
I have holdings on Coinbase and a small amount on Binance (which I need to get out before 10/31) but am trying to figure out my strategy.

@Ruttoshi - not much left in Binance and it didn't let me trade for deposit my BTC to Coinbase without converting to BTCB on the BEP-20.

@Sim_card - none of those solutions worked and I did post a follow-up on 10/15 with no response and I am desperate to get this resolved well before 10/31.
I am grateful for the new ideas being generated in this updated post.

I would advice against changenow
You can check reason here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472149.0
They have been known to always appear on Scam accusation in this forum.

A risky approach
Maybe try and use a P2P with a reputable member here
Well this is a last ditch option though.
Binance bridge is not in the US.

Moving and trying different method requires caution
Be careful and make sure you crosscheck before any sending or receiving.

Avoid change now as much as possible, or else they will mess you up at any time they want. Since you are from the US, try to lean more to exchanges that ask for no KYC at all. Almost 100% of exchanges that ask for KYC or have an anti-money laundering policy do not accept users from the US or sanctioned territories. So be very careful or else you are getting your coins blocked at one point in the near future.

Oh my, changenow came from a single suggestion I got from reddit/BitCoinBeginners

Thank you for the warning, the site looked like it would work and customer service was responsive  Embarrassed

I have gone to Option 2 and sent messages asking if and how I can swap BTCB for BTC on their exchanges:

I have messaged Exch customer support (don't see BTCB listed)
I tweeted Thorchain (couldn't find another way to contact them)- they list BNB -
so perhaps I can convert all my BTCB into BNB/BSC and then swap
BNB/BSC for BTC/BTC network on Thorchain?

Hoping I can get them or someone to verify if this is possible.

Option 3 looks dead - Good to know on binance bridge, didn't look promising.
Multichain doesn't look like it works.....?

Option 4 -
https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange
my Avast anti-virus deems it untrustworthy and when I ask to proceed anyway the site can't be reached.
Are there other sites that list trustworthy no-KYC exchanges?

Option 5 - orangefren only gave me a website "FixedFloat"  which they said is unlikely to work where I am from.
Is"FixedFloat" reputable?

Option 7 - https://app.debridge.finance/ - seems allow swapping BNB Chain for ETH or Tether (not BTC).
Is this reputable?

In general, what is the best ways to tell if a website/exchange is legit?  Just searching their name on this forum?

I a hoping one of the above solutions will work but open to other ideas.

I am trying very hard to solve this without relying on trusting a stranger via P2P.
A user on Reddit offered to exchange my crypto to BTC. I don't know how to tell how trustworthy someone on Reddit.

Thank you so much for your help thus far in this difficult issue for a noob to navigate.

You don't need to bother eXch support and waste time when they don't support BNB and any of their tokens.

Option 5 - orangefren only gave me a website "FixedFloat"  which they said is unlikely to work where I am from.
Is"FixedFloat" reputable?
If you are making exchange via OrangeFren than you are partially protected from getting scammed with OrangeFren Guarantee, but FixefFloat can sometimes ask customers for KYC verification.
You can also try finding more options with trocador.app, using USDT on BSC, or BNB coin to BTC.

Asking in the forum is certainly the best option, although it is somewhat hard to find information if you are unfamiliar with it.

My suggestion is to always look for topics about the service before using it. If you can't find, don't use  it, don't send your money.

I think https://exch.cx is one of the best exchanges out there. http://Https://SideShift.ai is also a very good option,  as it is used in aqua wallet.

I finally got my issue resolved!  Cheesy
Thank you SO MUCH everyone for continuing to engage with me throughout the process   Grin

Trust Wallet was able to swap my BTCB and BSC tokens for ETH,
much to my shock, as pretty much all the DEX I have looked for didn't seem to be allow this.
(I did try swapping BTCB for BTC first and that was not allowed, so I subconsciously assumed the same for BTCB for ETH.)

It was stressful as small amounts of money went by within a few minutes but when I did my total amount it took more than 30 min which had me sweating  Cry

I know most people here are prob not fans of leaving crypto in a hot wallet on say Coinbase (a Coinbase rep said if my exchange was ever stolen or hack they would reimburse me but not if it was on a Coinbase Wallet).

I do own a Ellipal cold wallet but didn't fully trust it for some reason.... Undecided

I plan on studying best practices for cold wallet vs hot wallet next.
(For cold wallet - like buy 1-2 damage proof cases and store the 20 key phrases in, perhaps find a steel engraving company? Bury one in the backyard and perhaps a 2nd hiding place....?
This is all new to me so trying to figure out
 Undecided

Big shoutout to @dkbit98 and @bitmover
for their continued advice, it made me feel less alone and stressed.
